Hope your seated with season ticket holders. They have a chance of losing them if they act unruly.

You'll get good natured ribbing going to the restroom and concessions.

My advice: leave early, especially if ... I mean when ... The hawks are winning.

I've seen so many drunken hawks fans really give opposing fans crap. I don't care if you bring your kids, wife, someone wearing hawks gear...you will be verbally abused. This gets worse if the hawks win. The ramps, parking lots become unbearable.

I know your wearing opposing team colors, but some of the crap I see is BS.

I would have thought if/when the hawks win the fans are usually pretty good natured as that's how it works over here

Just as long as you don't act like a Cowboy/Stealer/FortyNinnies fan and don't start shit you should be fine. Also the Locker jersey will help.

All I'm saying is...I never see any issues when seated....god natured ribbing at concessions.

I just see a bunch of a$$ clowns - wearing Hawks gear - giving the opposing fans a bunch of crap. Especially after we WIN!

I just don't get that.

In their face, Flipping them off, saying a bunch of crap.

Embarrassing. And, I saw it happen 3-4 times, so it's not an isolated inceident.

Sure, it's not like the SF Giants fan who suffered a coma at Dodgers Stadium....ni\ot at that level, but it's just embarrassing.

Do you do anything about it? If not then you are part of the problem.

I wouldn't for a second wear opposing gear to C-link. All of those that have been to a number of games have seen terrible situations involving the nicest of people. Lets face it, we have more bandwagon fans than just about anybody else. The games are CLink for the most part are still amateur hour. Sadly, if safety was your biggest concern I would keep the Titans jersey at home.

Tical,

You take the anti-Seahawk position in basically every single subject talked about on this board. As Pete and Jim would say, What's Your Deal? If you're a troll, you're doing a bang-up job.

For the original poster--there have been a few bad incidents. For example, in the 2005-06 playoff game vs. the Redskins, a Skins tailgate was smoke bombed, and a prominent female fan from one of their boards was badly harassed. Is there some chance you could have a bad time? Yes....but it's like that at almost every NFL stadium these days for visiting team fans. Should you expect a bad time? I really don't think so. We have no beef with the Titans.

And many of us like Jake and want him to do well this season, and certainly get through this game fully healthy. If you wore a Locker jersey, I really think nasty comments would be kept to a minimum. Some of us are WSU Cougar and Oregon Duck fans, and those folks might say "Locker SUCKS!". But many of the Seahawks fans who cheer for a rival of UW respected Jake as a player too.

You might also get some comments like "Titans Suck!", or "You Came A Long Way To See Your Team Lose!" But I would be very surprised if it was any worse than that. I can't think of any reason why Seahawks fans would have animosity towards the Titans, or their fans.

<<Edit: I think where you sit in the stadium will have an effect. As it is in most NFL stadiums, the folks in the cheaper seats, either up high, or near the endzones, are rowdier. You will probably deal with more trash talk and harassment in those areas, than if you are able to fit a lower down sideline ticket into your budget. The visiting team's sideline is on the east side, and there are usually a higher amount of visiting fans on that side, lower down, than there are on the west/Seahawks side. But even the west side, lower down if you can afford it, has a high likelihood of being okay for you.

Interesting thread. I was wondering the same thing.

It's hard to get to Rams games from San Diego, and I travel a lot of weekends for work projects.

One of the ones I can go to is the last one, which is at the C-Link. I was thinking that if I bought tickets for the front section of the visitor side, that it would be fine. Then I thought that I don't want any problems, so best to not wear any teams jersey. Just something non-commital. Which kind of sucks, as I like to wear my Rams gear. Maybe a jacket over a Rams t-shirt? So that outside of the stadium is not an issue.

I'd also kind of like to see this famous C-Link to be honest. But certainly won't cause, and don't want any issues.

Are there not other fans of the opposing team on the opposing team side seats?

You're gonna have to come up with a couple examples of this before you start throwing phrases like that one around. I'll be the first one to admit I'm not a fan-boy. I put utmost emphasis into being correct. If I have to take an unpopular opinion in order to accomplish that, so be it.
If folks are saying Wilson is going to throw for 5000 yards or Irvin was an elite player, I'll try to correct them. But being anti-Hawks? Not in this lifetime.

I don't know what sections you guys are all sitting in, but I've seen way too many unprovoked attacks against rival fans to assure somebody that they'll be just fine in enemy colors. If you go to the Clink in enemy colors, drunkards are going to do their darndest to provoke a fight. Not as much if you're quite a bit older. I've seen some bad, just classless stuff. I've been to 11 stadiums, and in term of just raw stupidity, we're up there. I've shared stories in other threads. No need to re-hash. Just be careful, because we certainly aren't immune to morons.

You would be fine there. That's club level. Tons of a lot of opposing fans sit there. Those are premium seats. I wouldn't worry about it.

I am a 25 year season ticket holder and I just don't see the things you have experienced. I suppose it must be your seat location.

I sit in Charter 109, and it's quite common to have a few visiting fans, in visiting team jerseys, in our section. I've never seen a problem... except for a couple of times when the visiting fan was obviously intoxicated and picking fights. Even in those situations, it never got really ugly, in that security came before things got out of control i.e. one guy threatening another guy, and a few punches being thrown, none landed, and then security arrives... pretty much a spectacle non-event, and again, it's only been when an intoxicated opposing team fan gets lippy.

I think if you even remotely behave yourself, and don't rise to verbal bait, you'll be totally fine, at least in our section, and probably any of the east side charter or club sections.

Hi guys, just wanted to drop by and say a big thanks to everyone.

I have booked my trip.

I'm going to San fran (boooo!) to see the Texans @ 9'ers.
Then spending a few days in Yosemite and then driving to Seattle and hopefully seeing the Huskies play too then the Titans/Hawks game on Sunday and another couple of days to see Seattle.

Tickets are very expensive, am i better buying them now or waiting until closer to the game to see if they come down?

I've exclusively sat in the 300 and have never seen any of this type of behavior. The worse I saw was a Niners fan being flipped off while waiting in line for the bathroom. Even last years Niners game, we were surrounded by their fans and everyone had a good time ribbing eachother. Of course they shut up pretty quickly once the ass-whooping was quite evident.

I can't imagine you having a problem wearing a Tits jersey with Locker's name on it. After all you will be watching the game about 6-8 miles from the University of Washington where he went to school.

I've been to a few games and never seen any problems. Perhaps its because of the area we have had the privilige of sitting in. But tho I have seen other teams jerseys I've never seen them treated badly.

oh yeah,,,THUMBS UP ON THE IRISH! :th2thumbs:

Well guys a little over 3 weeks to this game and my trip to Seattle.

After the Titans first week win and then pushing the Texans close i thought we might give you guys a game but the way you blew out the 9'ers... it doesnt leave much room for hope!!

I was reading online about undercover cops in 9'ers gear at the game on sunday, did anyone see anything go down?
