I doubt Sam wanted to go to the raiders anyways. Seattle was a far better landing spot, with an offense that fits his skillset

Agreed that someone who is a good coach and someone whose success came as a result of working hard aren't necessarily good at evaluating talent.

I'm going to share an exception to this rule: Kurt Warner. Warner did a video on Dangerwich prior to the trade to the Broncos, and he NAILED IT. All the Broncos Front Office had to do was watch Warner's video breakdown, and they don't make the trade.QB talent can be the hardest to evaluate. Kurt Warner seems to be consistently on target, just like he was as a QB. Warner was a guy who worked his ass off.and Dealt withMartz' abuse.That said, I've never seen Dave Krieg brek down any QBs play. It would be interesting. John Elway apparently signed off on Wilson. But then he was also on board with their 1st round bust I've forgotten. So Elway is a bad QBplay evaluator.

The QB doesn't play in a vacuum. I don't know a QB in the league who could be successful playing in that offense, with the players they have and behind that o line.

Comparing QBs to one in that situation is like putting 2 similarly skilled drivers in an auto race and giving one a Porsche and the other a broken down 1999 Ford mustang and hailing the Porsche driver superior because he won. Well yeah.

Geno is playing in arguably the worst offense in the league and behind the worst line in the league and had turned the ball over 11 times.

Darnold has one of the best o lines in the league, the most electric wr and arguably the most dynamic offense to go along with a top 5 defense and has 10 turnovers.

That's not to say anything about who is 'better' or that Brady was right, but keep things in focus.

It's good to not be the Raiders. It's great to be the Seahawks right now. I think we can all be thankful for that.

No no no, it was obviously all the line with Geno, and defenders appearing out of thin air to intercept passes. Geno is elite!

"Geno is playing in arguably the worst offense in the league" and Geno is a big part of the reason why. We have one new O lineman from last year under which Geno got sacked repeatedly because he is slow in processing and bad at navigating the pocket. Your excuse making for Geno knows no end.
