I disagree. I think he is completely fake and the only reason he has been more polite is because he would take a lot of heat continuing to act like a douche while losing. His players want to see accountability and him being defiant is going to cause his players to question his motivation. This is the first time in Harbaugh's career as coaching that he is seeing adversity. Up until now, everybody has kissed his ass because his teams have won (starting at San Diego State). If he had continued down the path he is on, the press would have tar and feathered him. He can act anyway he wants if they win..

1) University of San Diego (Toreros). It's different from San Diego State (Aztecs).
2) Stanford.
3) 49ers.

That's the teams he has coached.

I think Jed York has grown a lot as an acting owner. And that is having an impact on Harbaugh. York seems to me to be affecting a cultural change of sorts withing the 49er organization. The old hateful Nolan and Singletary cuture that replaced their glory years is being replaced in turn with a considerably more mature culture.

York is having a meaningful affect on the team. Although, the 49er fan base is way ..... way behind on the learning curve.

Actually I thing the Yorks have really distanced themselves from the day to day stuff. Its now being ran by a nephew, grandson, or some such of Eddie and he is actually a Dibartillo. He's young, in his late 20s I believe and has been in charge for close to 3 years.

The Yorks the mrs included can't be bothered by a mere football team. Remember the time they left a game when the announcers mentioned they were in the owners skybox and when the camera panned over there they got up and left and bitched to security.

Now this is old news Jville so it might have changed since then. But that was the last I heard via a nice article in a business magazine I was forced to read somewhere while waiting for the wife to complete a doctors appointment. lol

He's the nephew of Eddie D. He's about 30ish now. It's been several years he has been in charge. In charge so to speak. John York the father and Denise York his mother still hold a lot of control behind the scenes but day to day stuff is done by their son Jed York who we are speaking of here.
