8 straight games without an opponent O-Line Holding penalty

Cam across something online talking about this. Is this really true? That is absolutely insane and criminal if True.

Except if starting to lay our losses in in specific plays we should account for what penalties we might occur. Minus those we win bigger. All I seem to think of is our d in 2012 when we let the Falcons move down for a td with minimal time left. Excuses for bad defense. Penalties can be overcome. Saying we lose to bad calls is little league. We have to expect them and win regardless.

That I saw at least 3 instances last night, with clear holds and they weren't called

Not sure how this gets missed but it was far more egregious than the two holding calls we were given.

The officiating was very lopsided last night. I think we had 9 they had 2. Their steerjob failed though. :lol:

I saw at least one time when a NE o-lineman did get beat, and he held on to our d-lineman like he was at Cowgirls Inc. trying to stay on the mechanical bull!

D. Brown holding penalty was much less egregious, but alas, the laundry hit the field without hesitation.

I'm wondering when it becomes less of an issue of overall line talent or statistical anomaly and more of a blatant attempt to stick it to the Hawks?

Seems the NFL gave leeway the first week on calls, due to shortened preseason activities. it was delightful.

But then, yep way lopsided last night, esp for a team at home with not a lot of noise. Typical.

Upside: No Ifedi this year to commit 1.5 holds per game over the season. King of the Hankies at least one season...

Where did I mention anything about winning or losing a game? I'm asking if the stat is indeed true. Take a deep breath. Not everything discussed has to be through the lens of how it affects the outcome of a game.

This is true and why I would expect Seattle to see less of them than teams with a good D-line, but zero in an 8 game stretch seems statistically impossible.
