The optimist on me says we win 4 of 5, dopping one to the Vikings.

GB is the other tough one but we are 5-1 since 2006 when we play them in Seattle. We will do it again.

Cards W
Gb W
Minn L
CHI W
Rams W

I hinge all of this on Walker and Charbs getting going here over the last few weeks.

I like this optimism!

  1. Cards - Win: Murray is an uneven QB and he tends to have late season slides. He looked confused and frustrated the last game we played. I'm going to tentatively say this is a win.
  2. Packers- Loss: The Packers are a tough, well rounded team. I think they'll walk away with the win right here. The game will be close, but ultimately they take it.
  3. Vikings - Win: Most of the Vikings games have been nailbiters this year. They're a great team, but they seem to barely squeak by. I think that Sam Darnold can be gamed. He is another QB that has redzone issues, he has almost as many INT's as Geno in the redzone. I think we can keep him out of it.
  4. Bears- Win: Bears just find ways to lose this year. It's their talent, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
  5. Rams- Loss: The Rams always come to play against the Seahawks. Different coaching staff for sure, but I can't help but think that we're going to split with them.
Overall if these predictions come true, a 3-2 record ain't bad -- especially if we can snatch a win against a potential playoff team.

I'm not one to play the 'what if , coulda woulda shoulda' game, but man we had easy wins at hand against the Rams and Giants.

A poor blocking assignment on a blocked field goal in one game and a decision to not kick one in another are the differemce between 9-3 and 7-5.

At 9-3 with the realistic potential to go 13-4... Macdonald is in conversation for coacg of the year.

So close. But close isnt 'there'. Still nice to see how near we are to finally being a contender again.

I predicted 9-8 as the most likely scenario this year with all the change and not having all the pieces MM needs yet. I hope they get to 10-7 and avoid 8-9. The team is progressing and if they can get some things figured out there’s a chance they might even win out but that’s not probable.

I was tracking with everything you were saying until this point where you lost me. The Hawks lost to the Rams already so if you’re predicting we lose again how can they split?
I had a brain fart there.

Every year it seems there are a game or two you can look back on with the "coulda/shoulda/woulda" lenses. 🤷‍♂️

We already lost to them earlier this year. If we lose again, how exactly is that a split?

It's true that every team has that "WTF?" game or two, every season. We could go back the last 10 years and pick out those games easily. This year it's the Giants for sure, and possibly the Rams as well. 9-3 would sure feel a world's difference from 7-5 right now.

No doubt. I bet every team in the league has a "how the hell did we lose to those guys?" game.
Clearly, it's the Giants for us. But upsets happen all the time. And to be honest, I'm still mad about that game. Not as much as handing that Clams game away though.
Giants and Rams we literally gift wrapped a win for them

12-5 because that was my prediction going into this year!

However, 11-6 seems more like it with a loss to the Packers.

I still say we finish the regular season with 11 or 12 wins. I feel like since acquiring Ernest Jones as well as getting healthy at the right time they’ve been able to implement an identity of what MM wants this team to be defensively which is stingy and hard hitting. I think Green Bay and Minnesota matchup well for us and we should win those games if they can manage to hang on to the effin football and limit penalties.
John Schneider hit it out of the ball park in constructing and designing this roster around speed and athleticism on both sides of the ball. Leonard Williams, Boye Mafe’, Witherspoon, Woolen, Love, EJ, Hall, Murphy, Uchenna, Knight, Bryant. Offensively: Cross, Lucas, JSN, Barner, Walker and Charbs.

3 of 5 but 4 of 5 sounds better
I would bet they are all close though but if special teams don't get in our way it could be a blowout

What really pissed me off was the stretch of 3 gamed during an 11 day span. I was expecting one for sure win(Giants). What the hell NFL? Why did we get scheduled that way? Complete BS.
