Maybe he lost a bet on the NFC championship game or something. If that's the case then I give him props for following through.

This is the rumor I've been hearing, actually.

Some of you absolutely have no sense of humor. The guy was clearly doing a bit, and it's actually pretty funny. Good for him, and good for the Hawks fans who were there and had some fun with it right along with him.

For those of you who let it get you all worked up (of which clearly there are quite a few on this thread), congratulations, he won.

I don't see an idiot or a POS. I see a guy who loves his team and probably trusts that we live in a modern society where people don't get the crap kicked out of them for the clothing they wear.
How is what he is doing any different than wearing Seahawks gear to an away game?
I'm sure he's prepared for a little bit of trash talk, but anybody please their hands on him is the real idiot/POS.

I get what you're saying, but the difference is that there is no game today. It is a victory parade for the Seattle Seahawks. It is pretty clear that he is there for no reason except to start crap.

Ya I'm sure that's what he is there for, to start crap. Give me a break the kid probably weighs 125lbs soaking wet, really looks like a trouble maker. I think he is just showing pride in his team, you cant say Hawk fans never do the same.

Shouldn't you be trading teams right about now?

The entire Bay Area already has. That place is full of Raiders and Seahawks gear right now.

I don't know but he doesn't look like he's having a great time, if he was there to taunt I would expect him to be doing more then just stand and take verbal abuse which I'm sure he is hearing.

I vote for the bet scenerio.

We need to give this dumb kid a break, he just wanted to see a Lombardi trophy in person since the ones his team won were before this little goober was born. 8)
These are the people that you need to point and laugh at!

Personally I just think the kid is stupid. Every game you see some retard wearing gear that is not even from one of the teams playing. People like that don't even know how stupid they look. I guess they think they are cool or something.

I find it amusing and laugh at them.

Why? I don't see anything wrong with repping your team wherever you go. Am I an idiot for wearing my Seahawks hat when I go to Safeway? The hawks aren't playing in Safeway...

If I lived in another city and got tickets to a game between two other teams, I'd be wearing my hawks gear for sure. I just don't understand this animosity toward fans of other teams when all they are doing is wearing their team's colors.

I saw that kid walking down the steps just south of the stadium. He got a handful of skittles "gently" tossed in his general direction from me.

Totally agree during the actual football season...

However, as brought up in an earlier post, you don't pull that crap during another team's championship celebration. That's like the ex-boyfriend crashing his ex-girlfriend's wedding while drunk and bragging he was "the better man".

Should have thrown popcorn at him then walked away with a limp.

I mean, while we're all having fun and all. ; )

Even a cop?
I mean think about the stupidity of toting a damned bag around in a huge crowd, ESPECIALLY after the Boston Marathon clusterf--k.

If he wasn't at MINIMUM, detained and frisked, there's something wrong with security for that Parade.
I could care less if the buffoon wants to disrupt the GOOD VIBES that Seattle Seahawks fans are experiencing for the first time in their lives, it just shows how pathetic a loser fan from a rival team can be.

If you dress up like a Seahawks fan, and attend an ALL 49rs Super Bowl celebration, that would indeed make you a tasteless idiot,,,,You asked.

I congratulated him, people around me did to... shook his hand and said ... "you got balls kid"!!

This takes guts, and dedication to your team to do this!!!

And that's the difference between Seattle and SF... A Seahawks would not have made it out of there alive

I've not heard any reports of vandalous stupid sh*t, fires, violence etc...and thank goodness. Is this the case? Everyone kept it cool and represented? When I saw the 9er kid, my first thought was...No, don't hurt the guy. Have fun with it. Rise above.
