My wife and kids kept asking who I wanted to win in this game. All i could say was if the Hawks win tomorrow I want the 49ers to win, if the Hawks lose then I want to see GB crush the 49ers. If the Hawks win tomorrow SF will smoked next weekend....

Today was great 'cause now the Manning story is dead,

Now that the Broncos went down it goes to show what I've believed for some time now. The Broncos weren't the best team in the AFC let alone the NFL. They feasted on weak ass AFC West teams which padded their record and because Manning was at the wheel all the talking heads at ESPN/Fox/SI/CBS bought in. Where does that leave their false perception of the power structure in the NFL? In shambles. Probably time for them to reconsider Seattles place near the top I'd say.

As a Niner fan, I do think Atlanta might be an easier game. But who knows... They might play lights out tomorrow; what happened in the past is in the past.

I also think the Niners laid a huge stinker in Seattle... I don't believe for one second, no matter how good Seattle may be, that they come into SF and play like they did in the second meeting this season.

For me, the moment Clemons went out for the season I started rooting for the Packers to win. After a week of fail mary talk I think the seahawks would have conquered the cold no problem.

If seahawks wins in Atlanta the San Francisco game is going to be the toughest game of the last five years. Yeah I said it, that is how much bad blood there is going to be when we fly to their house after the trouncing. Whoever wins will not get out of that stadium in one piece. I am dying to watch it!

Well I think we're all expecting Atlanta to lay an egg again, but that isn't a given. They could very well come out and play their best game and win. Nolan is an incredible DC, and his defenses usually translate very well on the field.

I don't think either game is going to be easy. By this time in the season though, it's a pretty well known fact that the 49er defense matches up much better to pass-heavy offenses.

Let them struggle. They are going to pretend that they want Seattle because they want "Revenge" as if they are going to have it.

They know, deep down in that place that controls the confusion that is Niner Fandom, that the Seahawks scare the crap out of them and being at home doesn't matter. They aren't some Green Bay team, with a wimpy, schoolgirl defense and no running game. I hope Niner fans get their "wish" and that Harbaugh's wife can stew about it all off-season as her husband's offseason counseling starts.

A lot of us polled said we wanted the 49ers...Much easier than traveling to that icicle in Wisconsin, not to mention having to endure the LIVING HELL that would be the week leading up to the game by the media...You know, as in two words:

"Fail Mary".

I wouldn't have made it past the first hour of the first day.

I know, huh? That was my #1 concern about the Packers winning. "The Packers are playing for revenge for the Fail Mary play" ALL FRIGGIN' WEEK LONG!!! GROAN! Not to mention how unusually rabid the Lambeau field faithful would have been because of it. And also not to mention our damn playoff history in that god forsaken place! THANK YOU 49ers!!!.....

I'm in this catagory too. I don't believe our team had a snowball's chance in Lambeau of getting a fairly officiated game in GB and I've said as much for the last several weeks here and to friends and family. Our Hawks can beat SF again and we are quite likely to get better balance in the refereeing.
