Has anyone noticed this season and last season even with Carson this team dies not convert 3rd and one runs up the middle very well? Very disappointing Brian Schottenheimer has done a fine job with the running game except for these 3rd and short runs up the middle. It seems the defensive line normally beats our guards. Case in point just before Wilson's first pick Homer had no chance on the third and one run up the middle. Convert that run and maybe they get the TD instead trying that horrible 4th down play. Then before the Hawks first TD third and goal from a yard out the running back again had no where to go. Russ had to QB sneak in on 4th and one. Team has to get better on short third down runs.

No way should Travis Homer be running up the middle. That stupid play call cost them a TD early in the game. Then they tried in later to no avail. That play should be tossed out completely if they continue to use Homer. Sometimes BS (Brian S) tries too get cute and it costs them.

Hell, if ME, a nobody sofa sleuth KNEW that they were going to Run on first downs SEVERAL TIMES TODAY?, it stands to reason that the Bills DC could sniff those plays out right away, AND HE DID!; Made him look way smarter than he was.....I was yelling @ Schots, DON'T REPEAT THAT MISTAKE, but, sure enough, he did exactly that...Why not keep your RB in to BLOCK for an obvious Pass situation????
