This was on the offense. Defense was fine 1st half. They got gassed after offense repeatedly going 3 and out. Look at the TOP. Couldn't get the run going. Where in the hell was the motion and misdirection?

Offense struggled but are you serious? Defense didn’t get a stop for like 3 straight quarters. 550 yards. 33 points at home. Most teams should be fine scoring 30 points. Do they need to score 45 points a game to help out the defense?

Norton called the same base defense every single play. We essentially conceded scores every time they had the ball in the 2nd half hoping the clock would run out.

Situational football says that when the opposing team is gaining momentum and closing your lead, you run the ball down their throats, break their will, and drain the clock. The pass happy 2nd half was to blame for the defense's woes. Henry abused every team he played last year. We just set the table for him by giving him as many possessions as he needed to get rolling.

It was on the defense. They gave up soooo many chunk plays. They did hold them to a bunch of field goals but Tennessee got a lot of yards in the process. Our offense did not score when needed but they still put up 30. Defense was a seive the whole game. How many 3 and outs have they had??? I felt like they could just run whatever they wanted and get some chunk yards. Lots of real estate midfield the whole game.

Also riddle me this. How come teams can run all over us on a screen play but we can never put on together on offense. Not just this game either?

Offense was bad in the second half, not going to remove blame from them in this total team collapse. I don’t know why it reverted to the 2020 offense - it was a STARK difference compared to the variety and scheme of week 1.

My point is that this defense was downright terrible last year and the same exact issues appear to be here this year. I don’t get why Schotty was fired but Ken wasn’t. Both should have been gone. Ken was run out of Oakland and for some unknown reason has been able to keep his job while the defense gets worse each year. Solid positional coach, players from what I hear like him, but should not be a DC. They made absolutely no adjustments for most of second half and gave up almost 600 yards. With 6 pretty easy drops by the Titans as well. Something is broken and they seem completely unable or unwilling to fix it.

I will agree that the playcalling in overtime was abysmal.

Prevent defense? He was in base to stop Henry.

Offense had one drive in the 2nd half that wasn't a punt . And the majority of those pubts were 3 and outs. You cannot put your defense on the field against the titans thst many times. It's exactly their formula to win.

We had one drive all game more than 2 minutes long...

Sometimes HOW you get your points is more important than how many. That was the worst offensive execution you'll see resulting in 30 points with no defensive scores
