Perhaps I was naive in previous seasons but it felt like even the people with the hottest takes at least believed what they were saying. Now so many posters are only interested in pushing an agenda that there's more blatant misinformation on these forums than real opinions.

Let's also not forget that our defense gifted the offense a touchdown in the first half with that fumble.

Offense was bad in the second half, not going to remove blame from them in this total team collapse. I don’t know why it reverted to the 2020 offense - it was a STARK difference compared to the variety and scheme of week 1.

My point is that this defense was downright terrible last year and the same exact issues appear to be here this year. I don’t get why Schotty was fired but Ken wasn’t. Both should have been gone. Ken was run out of Oakland and for some unknown reason has been able to keep his job while the defense gets worse each year. Solid positional coach, players from what I hear like him, but should not be a DC. They made absolutely no adjustments for most of second half and gave up almost 600 yards. With 6 pretty easy drops by the Titans as well. Something is broken and they seem completely unable or unwilling to fix it.
Russ is the hall of famer. When the team needs one more score or needs to control the ball to take time off the clock and let the D catch their breathe, Russ has to find a way to get it done. That's what comes with being as good as he thinks he is and getting paid as much as he does. If you're gonna demand to be treated like Brady, you don't get to pass the blame off, period. It's his team, he has to get it done. He knows what's required in the 2nd half when you're up 2 TDs. He's well aware that sustaining drives that result in any points win these games. He failed to do it. 2 long sustained drives that both end in 3 points totalling 6 points would've been better than the one blown 3rd down play that got us 6.
Brady doesn't get to blame the defense. He owns it whether it's on him or not because it's his team

This is on Pete. We played soft in the beginning of the second half on D, and then we thought we could could run the ball and wind down the clock. Pete never changes.

We did not try to run the ball in the second half. There were only four called run plays in the second half and overtime. So, Pete has changed. Perhaps if we had gone with Peteball, we would have won the game.

Maybe they are just trolls that do not even watch the games.

Ken Norton gotta have hours of incriminating files on Pete to walk away unharmed after allowing a RB check down to score 2 4th quarter TD’s without making a single adjustment.

This defense continues to be absolutely horrendous.

This defense is terrible but they got no help

from the offense in the second half. They were totally gassed. John and Pete have done an absolutely horrible job building this defense. It would be nice if we had an owner that would hold these two accountable.

They got a double digit lead with under 1 qtr. If they are gassed with only a 6 minute top difference then the should be back playing pee wee.

TOP was 42 minutes to 22 minutes. Know what your talking about.

a lookup the tail someone else said that soi just repeated what they said. That aside maybe if the defense could get off the field they would not have such a TOP problem.

1 Wilson has not blamed anyone. FYi Rodgers, Mahomes, and Brady have before. 2. the reality is you scored 30 points at home, you gave the defense a 2 score lead with under a qtr to go. You should expect your defense with a defensive-minded HC to be able to hold that lead and if they don't they get the blame period.

o perhaps we would have lost in regulation instead of ot.

Of course, what anyone with a brain can tell you is when you give your defense with a defense-minded HC a 2 score lead and under 1 qtr you should win especially when you score 30 points at home.

You can't blame the defense. It was 24 to 9 at the half and instead of grinding out the yards on the ground and giving the D time to rest, we 'kept our foot on the gas' and drove right into a ditch.

This isn't on the D.

Tennessee will do this to every team it plays. Few can stop Henry and their ground game once it gets going. You can't blame Norton for trying to take away the sledge hammer that was cracking our skulls.

This is on a pass happy, ill conceived pass game and horrible execution on O.

Norton went into prevent defense at the start of the 3rd quarter, this is more on the defense than the offense.

I will agree that the playcalling in overtime was abysmal.

I really, really don't think that prevent defense statement is true.

Prevent defense? He was in base to stop Henry.

Offense had one drive in the 2nd half that wasn't a punt . And the majority of those pubts were 3 and outs. You cannot put your defense on the field against the titans thst many times. It's exactly their formula to win.

We had one drive all game more than 2 minutes long...

When you call the same base defense every single play, the opposing offense will figure it out (which they did). It wasn't prevent per se but it might as well have been. We went totally vanilla seemingly disinterested in getting them off the field.
