Ja'Markis Weston was waived with an injury settlement. We never really get to know what the settlement was, but usually it's based on a certain number of weeks, which gives the player the ability to look for another team once he's able to pass a physical. It also allows for him to make it to the PS later on in the year.

Disappointing that a neck injury has seemingly derailed Ouztz, those are serious and often career ending. Ouztz was a good blocker and helped smash holes for the runners. Lampe appears to be at least an interesting prospect at a position returning to being important.

Exactly what I was thinking. Someone with that kind of name (ala Mack Strong) has to be some kind of "backer"! What would happen if Strong met Power in the gap?

I don't follow all the fringe guys during this time of year, but this thread always helps me with some name-recognition once the final roster is established. Thank you for keeping it going. You guys are super-fans, for sure!

Thanks!!! It’s a collective labour of love, fuelled by us roster geeks. I’m mostly just a scribe as some of the guys are amazing with their speed to report the roster moves. Further there is a depth of cap knowledge and observant wisdom from those faithful partners in this amalgam of info.

It is made possible by the contributions of several and the contibuting group is growing. My personal thanks to each of them and to those new.
