I could see the team reaching out to one or two connected college guys to bring them here, if the succession plan for these two losses isn't solid enough for JS.

John has honed his scouting department since the beginning, I'm sure he saw this coming, he will have a plan. He is the Maestro after all, all these guys operated under his policy, direction and methods. Eye for detail on a player is the hardest thing to replace. We have been doing pretty well lately drafting, so we have people on staff capable that can climb the ladder and replace guys on the lower tiers of the department to give new hungry people a chance to prove themselves.
Next man up!

They must feel that talent evaluation has been an issue, taking the cream from two top ranked franchises scouting and evaluation departments.

To be fair, their previous staff deemed JJ McCarthy a better QB than Sam Darnold. So yeah, they definitely needed an upgrade in the talent evaluation department.

Excellent! Much appreciated!!!

Thanks kidhawk, good stuff and interesting!!! All of this is of course necessary b/c of the recent predations by the Vikings of the Seahawks Senior FO staff.

There is however legitimate talent in these promotions for the Hawks and with luck the team won't seriously miss Kirchner and Teasley. To me it's interesting they replaced Teasley with two guys, perhaps a rethink about the real nature of the job of Asst. GM.

After reflecting on this list a bit, naming two Assistant General Managers makes a lot of sense going into an ownership change.

John Schneider is going to have his hands full in introducing new ownership to the existing organization structure. The structure brought in by Paul Allen and that continues to evolve under Jody is very different and more productive than what proceeded the Allen era. I don't know that I could stomach a departure from what I would describe as an excellent circular organization structure. Project oriented with agile adaptability and exploiter of change. Takes a lot of time and persistence to build what they now have.

Seahawks add back a former player as west coast scout.

I expect the team may continue to add depth in the front office to replace those recent losses to the Vikes.

This looks at first glance to be a quality addition.

Rooks report tomorrow. Could be a time of minor roster adjustments and also that one guy who didn't keep in shape and starts camp on NFI.
