Save for adding an experienced Edge to the pile the roster looks pretty strong.

There will be quite a few intense positional battles for available starting spots.

If we look at the roster position to position wherever the piles are deepest that is where the most intense battles will be.

I suspect this year it may be harder than ever to move players to the PS at cutdown time.

Your link is to a Fieldgulls article, which they got from Seahawks.com earlier in the day. If you look at Seahawks.com right now there are no articles about the un-drafted rookies. There was something earlier yesterday (I didn't see it) but they must have removed it.

Thanks guys, we are clearly all on top of this. I'd caught the 6 signed difference in my updating.

I'm always appreciative of the very capable help I get from each of you. Thank you!!!

It is being reported that the team has reached an agreement with veteran OLB/DE - Dante Fowler on a 1 year deal which is suspected to be up to $5 mil.

This has yet to be confirmed by the team but would take the roster numbers up to the 91 player limit and add that edge rusher they couldn't snag in the draft.

Thanks Hawkstorian , you beat me to it by 2 minutes. Thank you!!!

Hopefully Fowler will still have some juice left and can replace the pressures the team got from Mafe.

Will update once we hear from the team.

Although the team has yet to release anything I’ll call it official since I’m seeing it listed on the transactions wire.

OK, thanks kidhawk I’ll update, even though he's not actually signed. Our group here is all over this roster stuff, thanks again to each of you.

Thanks kidhawk, you are always right on the ball, much appreciated!!! Thank you!

To me this is a good FA signing, but time will tell.

No indication as yet about his number for this season.

According to the team's roster page Fowler will be wearing 56. Let's hope for shades of LT in the upcoming season ;-)

Once Price is signed the real job of the team is to come together again which should be easier than many other seasons as they are mostly all familiar with each other having kept most all of the team. There are not a lot of areas where there are questions. Any thoughts at where they can get better?

There are a few questions about one or two players and their age and or health, so that will be interesting but the bigger questions like there was last year with the major cuts and/or trades at QB and WR are not there anymore as the team clearly now has a good solid QB who has proven he can overcome the negative chatter and the best WR in the NFL and an interesting combination of speed and reliable play with the rest of the WR group. There several proven stars at many key positions.

A look at the roster as presently here will reveal where the team thinks they needed to add depth or talent and there will certainly be some intense battles for spots on the active roster at almost every position, but of course notably at RB, CB, and Edge. Those specialty jobs like gunner and will likely be improved by those younger players who rise up, and no position group appears to be absent of potential successors to those who had the position last year except in just a few obvious spots. I sense this team is deeper than any I can remember. I like the roster a lot.

For discussion where positionally do you think the team can be stronger?
