Well, I think it's f'ing dumb. You make the playoffs; you should at least get 1 game at home if you get it to game 3. Stupid format.

Personally I'm okay with it. You have to reward the better teams. And in a three game series, you can't do the first two for the better seeded team and then do game 3 for the underdog. And they definitely aren't doing home-away-home.

Simple answer: win your division. :)

In 2022 we went to Toronto as the WC and swept the Jays. 🤷‍♂️

Doesn't matter, I just personally think it's stupid. Oh well, not our problem, and not even semi-important. I just like to bitch about stuff I think is stupid :)

I was just going to ask if it's understood that we want the Yankees to lose.

It would be a double-awesome-wowzers-amazing deal if Yankees lose. First, Astros, then Yankees. I'm still celebrating Astros' elimination and am expecting a parade just for that. But if Yankees lose too, then definitely a huge all-day parade for those!

Edit: Then again, similar to DET-CLE, it'd be nice to see BOS-NYY to go all three games as well, since we'll eventually be playing one of 'em. Tire 'em out as much as possible. Just win the series, BOS.

Really want the sliding Detroit team to beat Clev..I'm not sure that's going to happen.

M's are better than both, went 4-2 against both, doesn't really matter. But I guess if I HAD TO choose one, I'd rather play Detroit.
Still nervous about Skubal, dude is ridiculous.

Here's to hoping game 3 goes 16 innings 🥃

Update: Listening to 710 and Shannon Drayer says it sounds like they are thinking Woo pitches in game 3 or 4.

We have the depth to push Woo back. I’m going to root for Cleveland tomorrow, don’t want to see Skubal.

I'm legit to the point where I don't care who they play. BUT............not facing Skubal would be just fine with me.

Man I knew Yankee Stadium had a short porch but it looks like a friggin tee-ball field on tv. No wonder they jack so many bombs

Red sox pulling their pitcher already in the 3rd. Only threw 40 pitches. Tied 2-2

Fenway is like that as well in person. Feels tiny in comparison to T-Mobile Park. It's a really cool stadium though, you really feel the history of generations of fans that have went there.

Wyman and Bob making it sound (not saying this is how it will be) like it will be:

GAME 1: GILBERT
GAME 2: CASTILLO
GAME 3: WOO
GAME 4: KIRBY

If you look at Castillo's numbers at home, they are VERY good. Not sure how it will shake out, but I don't mind that. However, IF the M's were to go win the first 2 games? I'd go with Kirby in game 3 and give Woo extra rest and have him go game 4.

I've always wondered why they made T-Mobile Park a pitchers park vs hitters when they built it. Was it solely for Griffey? (who barely played there).

One of the MANY reasons Naylor has become my favorite player is that he said it's a great park to hit in. And his numbers show it.
