Runs scored in the last 10 days during which Dodgers played six games and Mariners played seven:

Dodgers: 19
Mariners: 31

Maybe there's some hope there to win it all.

Yeah, that's pretty much what the Yankees and Dodgers have done with their zillion-dollar payrolls: ruin baseball. MLB will never be fair 'til they institute some sort of salary cap on all teams. Glad Jays knocked Yankees out this year, and bargain-basement Mariners making it to the big show would be quite remarkable.

That is exactly what is needed, a straight up hard salary cap for all
teams with no luxury tax ect.

The Ms can very well beat the Dodgers despite the advantages the big
market team gets under the current system.

If this guy attends the WS games (assuming Ms make it), then that's it. We're winning it all.

They aren’t actually that expensive. I’m guessing he has 10 and got good pricing on buying that many
I heard after one of the Tigers games that he had purchased his own t-shirt decal machine (lots of them available on Amazon) and made them himself.

Meh. If you correct for that extra game and then recall that one of our games was a 10-3 outlier, it starts to feel more evenly matched.
