What tremendous news to wake up to, must admit was wondering even though I couldn’t truly get to believing a deal wouldn’t be reached. Thanks for posting my friend!

Sure would be nice if this agent could be a tad less confrontational, in terns of negotiation windows.

Now for a few other deals to secure the genuine core of the ream.

The team has 5 players who don't apparently have numbers assigned to them officially, or the team has neglected to advise of on the team roster page.

Those five are:

QB- Paxton Lynch
OG- Mike Iupati
DE- Cassius Marsh
DE/OLB- Nate Orchard
DT- Jamie Meder

If anyone has knowledge of their respective player numbers could you please assist?

Don't they usually sort the numbers sometime after the draft and signing the undrafted Free Agents?

It's often at the start of any OTAs, but can be almost any time. The do get announced after the draft for the drafted players.

i just wondered if anyone had noticed any numbers posted anywhere for these 5 players.

The numbers from "over the cap" and "sportrac" are in agreement and they correspond with what I remember of the announcements at the time the signings were announced. I think they're usefully accurate.

QB- Paton Lynch signed to one year contract consisting of $645,000 in non guaranteed salary with no signing or roster bonuses. Cap number is $645,000

OG- Mike Iupati signed to one year contract consisting of $1,000,000 in guaranteed salary plus a $1,250,000 signing bonus plus game day roster bonuses totaling up to as much as $500,000 resulting in a cap number of $2,562,500

DE- Cassius Marsh signed a one year contract consisting of $850,000 in non guaranteed salary plus a signing bonus of $600,00 plus per game roster bonuses totaling up to as much as $400,00 for a cap number of $1,850,000.

DE/OLB- Nate Orchard signed a one year contract consisting of $805,000 in all guaranteed salary. No bonuses included. His cap cost is only $645,000 ..... the reason for which I no longer recall.

DT- Jamie Meder signed a one year contract consisting of $720,000 in non guaranteed salary .... no bonus money. Cap number is same $720,000

Edited to suggest adding May 3rd to key league dates for reference in the initiating post ................. [tweet]https://twitter.com/gbellseattle/status/1119030885439795200[/tweet]
................................. little doubt someone will be asking.

The reason for the the Orchard discount is he signed a vet min contract which allows for the discount.

Thanks for posting Jville.

Neither the Seahawks nor Chiefs have made any official announcement regarding the trade. Interesting.

The team drafted DT/DE- LJ Collier at 29 but traded down from 21 for 2- 4ths (114 &118) and pick 30 which was traded for a 2nd pick #37 a 4th-132 and a 5th- 142. Slight underwhelming so far in terms of potential expectations, but that was anticipated.

You do have to be impressed with Trader John's ability to manufacture draft picks. The team now has 9 draft picks before the end of the 5th round from the original 4, which is pretty good work. More DLine depth is needed.

I suspect the team might still trade down one more time to a bit later in the 2nd or in combo trade up into the 3rd for targeted guys.

I suspect we will soon all like LJ Collier, read what Baldinger has to say about him @ http://seahawksdraftblog.com

Here's his combine draft profile which is more lukewarm:

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/l.j.-coll ... fb95d63f5e

His QB pressure % was the 3rd highest of all the pass rushers, and he is a highly physical player who likes to play football and hit. He was a dominant pass rusher at the Senior Bowl. He's not a Leo and the team still may acquire that guy over the next 2 days. He's a solid addition to the team.

Thanks Kitsap, a far cry from $105.5 million.

The OTC.com numbers are out of date, I will update when they are caught up.
