I came hear earlier to boo the Mariners. Now that they are doing well, I thought I should come back and show some love. Go Mariners, let's take the AL West lead!

If they're still hovering around the division lead by the end of this month, I'll just go all in, I guess. Maybe I'm just bad luck for these guys at home. I'm still 0-for-Safeco. Maybe I shouldn't use the tickets I have for this weekend...

If Paxton and Walker can get back soon and the Ms can package something to get a good hitter that can hold down RF, they can give the Athletics a run at the division. The starting pitching is legitimately wonderful on this team. Erasmo Ramirez can move back into long relief, where I'd prefer to see him, and they can trot out Felix, Kuma, Paxton, Walker, and Elias, which would probably end up being a fairly ridiculous rotation.

I think Farquhar is a good set-up man, but I do think that we need to also consider upgrading our middle relief, whether through the system or through a trade. I guess Furbush is holding down the LOOGY role for now even though he's been shaky (though he induced a huge double-play ground ball the other night).

I thought Brad Miller was supposed to be good at defense..........so far this year it hasn't impressed me at all and he basically cost Felix a run.

The rap on Miller is that he makes the hard plays, but will boot the easy ones.

I'm a bit worried about Felix. He hasn't been quite right in his last three or four starts. I'm not expecting him to throw perfect games every time out, but he's getting more balls hit hard and he's not inducing as many swinging strikes, if I'm reading the stats correctly.

I like your thought about not going to the game...I want the winning to keep going...They could go after Drew..I like how Rodney is doing...Go Mariners!!!

No one wants to talk about it but something is definitely wrong with Felix. A bad Felix is still a good starting pitcher and he would likely have 5 wins if Miller didn't make those errors.

Speaking of Miller, I really want to start seeing Bloomquist more. Currently this team is winning despite Miller. It feels like he either doesn't make a play or makes an error every other day. And his bat is about as good as Brendon Ryan's.

I really like how the offense is being spread out over multiple guys, it's not just Cano carrying the whole team, even though Cano has become a bit more of his normal self.

Although it's early, I also like Jones as the center fielder. Looks light years ahead of Almonte on defense.

Brad Miller sucks..Would Franklin be worth a try?I hope Felix is ok,he does have a lot of innings out of that arm..Maybe all he needs is rest(dead arm)..

During the broadcast yesterday, Sims and Blow were talking about how Felix has been sick the last few weeks and lost 9lbs. Maybe that is why he hasn't been as sharp as usual?

Also, I think we need to go out and get Stephen Drew once we can and not lose a draft pick by doing so. instant upgrade at SS.

2 hits = a win!

Kuma is back in form and flat billed Rodney still scares the hell out of me ! But a win is a win !

Felix's career era in may is an inexplicable 4.40. He always seems to have a stretch like this every season. I assume this is nothing different.

On the positive side, Kuma was AWESOME tonight

Not to mention Young. He is a good good guy to have. We can beat KC with Maurer IF we light up Vargas. now how hard can that be? Vargas has like a twelve era in the last coupla games? Then its young, elias, hernandez and iwakuma. 4 straight wins!

We just need to start hitting the ball again.

I think it's time to make some moves. Send Miller down to Tacoma to get his head right. Franklin can't be worse at the plate and defensively. Bring him up and see what he does getting everyday ABs.

Second, it might be time to think about using any leftover budget for a FA move. Someone mentioned signing Stephen Drew, which I'm not against if Franklin doesn't work out. We have too many DH types, but Kendrys Morales, as much as I hate to admit this, might be an option worth looking into soon as well.

Yeah, looks like the offense has hit another bump in the road against the Royals. Got to get something going.

Also, its time for Miller to get out of the starting lineup. Offense has been terrible outside of the first series of the season and his defensive lapses are costing us runs now.

Time to get rid of Mauer...14 hits /0 strike outs..This experiment has failed! You can't tell me there isn't anyone in AA/AAA
who isn't better..Who is the hitting coach?Time to look into glasses or lasik surgery for 3/4 of team..I am being scarcastic
but damn,I don't think anyone in the bigs should hit below .250 unless you have awesome power stats...We have great pitching but lousy hitters..This team is a playoff team pitching wise(minus a weak Mauer) We need better hitting to keep winning-very fustrating to see us lose games with 2-5 hits every time.

Why the hell is Miller in the lineup again? And why is Seager out of it? What is going on? I will happily take Willie Bloomquist over miller right now.
