wondering why we are playing @IND and @HOU when we played at those locations in 2009. Conversely, we play TEN and JAX at home which we also played at home in 2009.

same question was brought up the last time we played the Steelers since it was 2 in a row on the road.

The answer seemed to be just the way the re-scheduling worked out with the NFL decided to make sure the last few weeks of the season had important divisional games.

No, it's that way because the NFL was worried their precious east coast teams would have to travel too much. Can't have them making more than 1 trip to the west coast. (Which is why there will never be a schedule where an east coast team has to play the NFC West and AFC West the same year. That would, like, give a competitive advantage.)

i guess in 2010 they reset things with certain teams.. we played @DEN in both 06 and 10.. have not hosted Denver since 02.. same with PIT and CLE.. we have played at both those locations twice since realignment but only hosted them once in 03..

Flip side we have hosted the Pats and Jets twice and Ravens/Bungles.. have not played at BAL or CIN since 03 and NE or Jets since 04.

weird.. we won't host the stealers again until 2015..

Sarlacc- I remember that east coast issue, but was suprised to see it apply to Denver.. in 2010 we were due to host DEN and KC, but only hosted KC.. still kept on the correct pattern with OAK..

oh well.. play who is on the schedule right.. would've been nice hosting HOU and IND instead of TEN and JAX for sure...
