3rd and 12 in FG range and we come up with a 6-7 yard play....

It is odd.
Our HC is a defensive coach. He preaches the importance of solid tackling. We KNOW how important it is.
But we have so many drives that die because we seem to expect that the opposing team will fail to make a good tackle.
Like we are the only one that knows how to tackle? I have no idea. Maybe just expect they might make a tackle, as a professional NFL team, and then plan for it.

PCs teams have always been bad on 3rd down. Mostly due to 3rd and longs
