Russell Wilson released, according to sources.

I kinda want to re-sign him, just so the Seahawks can say they traded Russell Wilson and a 4th for Lock, Fant, two 1st, a 2nd and Russell Wilson.

    Most liked 'sleeper'/'forgotten' Hawks.

Came to my school to do one of the classic 'set goals and follow your dreams' school things. Largest human I had ever seen up to that point, the the very first player I began specifically looking for during games. Easy to find - his name was so long...

    Most liked 'sleeper'/'forgotten' Hawks.

My Fav Seahawk already mentioned - Mack Strong. One never talked about enough in football circles is Jacob Green. Only Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor had more sacks when he retired.

Most polarizing Hawks player of all time?

Jerry Rice. Polaraizing because we all had a deep respect for him, but lost it when he wore the wrong number.

    Steve Hutchinson Hofer

As we said years ago, Huck Futch. He disappeared from my circle of care through his own actions. Probably the most formerly significant member of this team I don't consider a Seahawk. Embarassing.

    Greatest Seahawk One-Hit Wonders

I will go to my deathbed convinced that after the beat-down he received playing against us, he signed with the Seahawks so no one would ever see Walter Jones own him on national television again.

    Luke Willson returns

I glad he's back. Just a side note, but the Seahawks have never won a Superbowl without Luke Willson on the roster. You can look that one up. Championship.

He needs to retire as a Hawk!

He should get together with the now-retired Gronk and do a pregame show where the two of them are playing a Playstation version of the coming game and talking smack to each other.

What is the best trade in Seahawks history?

Man, this is actually very difficult. Clearly Largent, the man whose records Jerry Rice has to beat, the first Seahawks Hall of Famer, for an 8th is just epic. But, while I grew up watching Largent, Walter Jones was the best to ever play his position in the NFL, and arguably one of the best...

    Earl to Ravens

Earl found his payday - good for him. I would have liked to see him stay an entire career here - but that was not going to happen at that money level or at all after the bird. It was great, Earl.

Hawks Unis - Do some of you still hate them?

Still don't like the blue jersey with the dayglow-swoosh highlighting a Nike advertising billboard instead of a Hawk on the sleeve or the blue/blue uniform. The Blue Pants and White jersey combo is the best looking away uniform we have ever had, and my favorite of the current generation. Glad...

Bobby Wagner deserves defensive player of the year

DPOY: Wagner MVP: Wilson Have these ever been from the same team, much less back to back pics in the same draft (2012, which Prisco called a failure of a draft...)?

    Kam out for year

Neck Injuries are no joke, so as much as I'd like to see Kam and Cliff playing, better that they do not. Neck injury ended the career of my favorite Seahawk, Mack Strong. Not to be played with - one more game is not worth a wheelchair.

    Norm Johnson

I just want to point out he still lives in the area, and is probably available on weekends. I mean, what the worst that could happen - three missed field goals?

Best individual defensive year by a Hawk

Outstanding names which I had a problem boiling down to only one best individual year, like Jacob Green - one of my all time favorites and one of the best Seahawks ever in my opinion

Best individual defensive year by a Hawk

I believe we have already covered the top three pretty well, but rounding out the top 5-10 gives a little more leeway to talk about other perfromances To throw out another great Defensive performance that deserves recognition, Lofa Tatupu in 2005. This rookie came in and was pivotal in the...

    Sherman/Guarantees/CBA **long**

I think we will see a modification, not a fundamental change. A higher dedicated line item going to player healthcare collectively as a league is probably a significant statement, but would have its own issues (who administers this? how are players compensated? etc) A reduction in the Rookie...

    Gil Brandt's top LT's of All-TIme.......

Ogden and Munoz are both outstanding players at their positions, and I watched them both play. They both deserve to be in the top 5. But yes. Walter Jones was tough enough and strong enough to play every down that Munoz did. Munoz was not technically proficient enough to take Walters snaps...

    "Anaheim" Seahawks (ugh)

Good rundown on how they stayed, including Paul Allen's influence leading to drafting Walter Jones and Shawn Springs... http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/seah ... -clutches/

    Cortez Kennedy dead at 48

Damn, this is rough. 1990's Seattle taking big hits recently. One of my favorites, always will be. Thank you, Cortez.
