    Yeah that huge difference is that Percy is not yet in game shape and they don't want to push it. At least that is one way to interpret the news. Like others here I'm not worried about it until I see an official injury report listing him as doubtful.

    This is the same logic the national media used against Seattle after they escaped from STL with a W. Saints aren't 8-2 by sheer luck. They have a solid team with a few offensive weapons and an ever improving defense under Rob Ryan.

    Maybe but who wants to pay for a 30 yr old CB coming off two injuries and has lost a half step. How many of us were questioning if Thurmond was better after Browner came back? Age is a big deal for CBs.

    No. It sucks but it's part of the game. Start doing that then it will be unfair when a team has to punt on 4th and 15 because the ref missed a PI call 20 yards down field. Plus as you have already mentioned it will slow the game down and that is not good for the NFL business model.
