Whew. Not injured again.

I'm pretty sure he's just a bit sore from all the work he's putting in to get back into game shape. It's not a problem. The Seahawks are being extra careful with their new offensive weapon.

Bad title. Made me think he got injured again.
Agreed. What he actually said is that he's very close.I figure Minnesota or worst case scenerio New Orleans.

No, it means he's still hurt. I told some Seahawks fans on the old ESPN boards that Percy Harvin is injury prone and that the Niners were not trying to sign him because of that.

Instead they were off signing Nnamdi Asomugha who they're about to cut.

Boo-urns for this news, though. Was hoping to see Percival in person.

It's very hard to get any definitive information out of Pete when it comes to injury status or player performance. Everyone is "on track" "working hard", or "we like what we're seeing." You can derive more info from his body language or tone of voice than you can his actual words. How long has it been since Breuno "turned the corner" on his injury?

I know that Harvin didn't practice Wednesday and I assume he didn't practice yesterday, either, or else we would have heard about it. IMO it's very unlikely that we'll see much of Harvin before the Minny game.

Errr, we most certainly do need him.

No Rice + bad pass protection + Wilson on pace to get sacked over 50 times + defenses stacking the box because they don't respect our WR's = we need him, and we need him bad.

I've been guessing all along that barring any setback he will be back for Vikings game and will be limited. Gives him a chance to get to game speed before the bye and NO game. We need him now, but not at the expense of losing him the rest of the year. I expect Seattle to handle the home games with ease and the defense will be motivated to shut down ATL. Knock on wood but I hope everyone is back and healthy for the NO/SF games. If we had to deal with injuries this next 3 game stretch is probably the best stretch of the season.
