Greatest QB in Seahawks history ..... so far ......
Am I missing something? Will always be grateful for Russ having a part in, so far, two Lombardis. I think my favorite part of most of the time he was a Seahawk was knowing there was always a chance to pull out a win with 3 at QB.
Thanks for the wins, the excitement, the championships and everything else. See you in the ROH!
I noticed that, too.I can't disagree with much....but I have to mention that when I look at highlight reels, especially with his deep balls, I see a whole lot of Doug Baldwin and other receivers making amazing contested catches. Yes, he had the prettiest deep ball I've ever seen but he also had receivers who would steal them right out of the air while fighting with a DB.
That being said, in his prime there was NO other QB that I'd prefer to have with a shot at a game winning drive than Russell Wilson. He may have been crap in the first quarter, but in the 4th I'd take him over Brady or Manning or (definitely/especially) Rodgers.
Super Bowl LX probably doesn’t happen without the haul from the Wilson trade. That 3rd round pick from the 2012 draft class has given more to this franchise than any pick they have ever picked since the first draft in 1976.Am I missing something?
He helped the team win their first, right?
When did he win a 2nd?![]()
Hutch and his agent took advantage of an unprecedented situation, while Russ lied to fans faces about wanting to be a "Seahawk for life" while simultaneously trying to force his way out through back channels because he's Michael Scott levels of having to be liked. He also stabbed the people who took a chance on him and got him where he was in the back. Not the same thing. If people can forgive Hutch, then they should be able to forgive Russ. Just my opinion.

RME3 tried getting people fired. He put himself above the team and the fans. He took the money and tried ripping this team apart. Our responses are directly related to him and the Seahawks organization. I feel like the main forum is the place to post in this instance. This is definitely Seahawk related and yes this is personal. Just my opinion, no disrespect intended to anyone here. My disrespect is directed at Russ himself.
Lol are we actually giving Russ credit for lx win???Super Bowl LX probably doesn’t happen without the haul from the Wilson trade. That 3rd round pick from the 2012 draft class has given more to this franchise than any pick they have ever picked since the first draft in 1976.
So you're crediting Wilson for us winning the SuperBowl last year based on the picks that were traded to us from the Broncos?Super Bowl LX probably doesn’t happen without the haul from the Wilson trade. That 3rd round pick from the 2012 draft class has given more to this franchise than any pick they have ever picked since the first draft in 1976.
I can respect that he's first ballot in your heart, but he was a long shot for the Hall BEFORE they tightened up voting. He has virtually no chance now, and if he does get in, it won't be anywhere close to first ballot. He’ll always be one of my favorite Seahawk players of all time. The negative people are, well, negative. That’s their problem, and maybe they should just get over it.
He’s a first ballot HOF QB with a bright future ahead. Thank you for the great memories Russell
Posters here can't even "forgive" Shaun Alexander & he has nothing to be forgiven for.If people can forgive Hutch, then they should be able to forgive Russ. Just my opinion.
Don't you just hate typos you don't notice? One thing that will be discussed is how much of his one championshipwaswasn't him, and how much was his iconic, all-time defense that gave up just eight points to a record-setting offense in the Super Bowl
