2025 Seahawks Depth Chart and Roster Moves

So far from the .com site there appears to be 10 players who do not have numbers yet assigned to them. If anyone notices any reports about player numbers being assigned I'd appreciate any input so the OP can be updated.

At this time I'm going to assign #2 to Lock as that was his number before he went to the Giants.

EDIT:
I was mistaken and Lock apparently got Howell's number 6 and Howell's new number is 2

Seahawks waive DT- Cameron Young on eve of the draft proving the most valuable ability is availability. Young spent too much time on IR over his first two seasons. Perhaps he had some talent but we may not ever know in Seattle.

"Among the most important traits for a fullback are toughness, versatility, and given roster limits, the ability to contribute on special teams. And in fact, there is a player who checks those boxes on Seattle's roster, one who played a bit of fullback last year, and that's Brady Russell. Before today, I'd have written tight end Brady Russell, but Russell is indeed switching positions to fullback this year.

That's a significant development for Russell and the Seahawks, because new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has made it clear that, as was the case when he was in New Orleans, he expects fullback to be a significant role in Seattle's offense. The Seahawks can, of course, continue to add to that spot, but by switching Russell to fullback, it gives the Seahawks a viable option at that position heading into the offseason workout program." I respect your view but Lockett was still a better WR than almost all of the others on the team save for JSN. He'd likely still be a better WR than any the team might draft this draft.

I don’t disagree with anything you are saying here, I just don’t think the team had any plans to bring him back. I think if that was an option then he’d have signed back. He also took a pay cut last year. I just think the new staff was ready to move on.
