Wasn’t gonna get playing time behind Charbs, Holani, and Price. Did him a favor by cutting him early to latch on with another team.

Yeah Holani just leap frogged him in terms of versatility and depth. A shame because McIntosh shows promise.

Has nothing to do with Marshawn, and it certainly isn't disrespecting anyone. Again, I've been calling sports stars beasts for years. Some players are just flat out beasts.

Yeah but he's no Price. He's closer to Wilson who I hear is looking great in camp for the Hawks but even Nemhauser came back to his senses and said Price is everything we could wish for at running back after seeing his quickness in camp. I don't know what the 49ers have at running back besides McCaffrey but it was obvious last year he can't carry the load alone

I think the Wilson signing is really under the radar. Like he's being thought of as a JAG. But I look at his highlights and can't help but get excited about his tough nosed running behind this line.

One thing that's really jumping out about the daily Price reports is him making tough catches every day. It feeds into the idea that just because a player didn't do something in college doesn't mean he's not capable of doing it.

Well, that is managing the PUP list. If they think he'll be able to play in the 1st four weeks of the season, they can take him off PUP at the cutdown and just have him inactive until he is really ready. Trade off is the loss of the roster spot for the 1st 4 games. If they think he needs the time, leave him on PUP for the 1st few weeks of the season. Or they could IR him with activation later. There are a few options.

In all of JSs tenure, RB has been a position he's come through on...and from many different avenues. He's traded, drafted late, drafted early, FAs and he's found some absolute steals and total surprises. He's made some bad moves, but he's also had depth. For whatever reason, JS can find RBs. Given his track record and the conscious moves made so far, I can't see any reason to question this particular position. He wasn't surprised K9 is gone or Charbs isn't back yet. Maybe that track record changes this season or pre-season games look awful and then there's reason to be nervous, but not at this point.
