I prefer to gesticulate wildly, followed by waggling my index finger at them, slowly letting it go limp, while exclaiming: "Penis Wand!"

They usually end up with puzzled looks on their faces, attempting to resist the urge to waggle their finger, and exhibiting no further indications of escalation.
