You have to put yourself in the owners shoes for this one, it's not about if YOU love him or hate him.

You don't fall into 10 extra billion laying around and be a complete dummy. JS has definitely had his hand in building this dynamic team.

However a new owner means a new mind of his own. He has "His" people/established relationships and "His" ways.

I believe JS just signed a 4 year extension, but we know NFL stands for "Not for long".

If you think JS is kept on, how short of a leash does he have? How many losing seasons/which situation before he is pulled?

Well, pretty sure if the owner, she, starts meddling in affairs, we'll know pretty quick what we have.
I thought it was Vinod Khosla who is running the show now, It could be a lady.

And to be fair, it's pretty crazy to ask a person to buy something for $10 billion and say "Don't touch it".

Two different angles:
  1. People:
The Kholas, the Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, tech.
Schneider, every sentence has multiple "ya-know", and "lke".
  2. Business
With Kholas wanting to show the Yorks how things ought to be done.
Seahawks have a young roster on a winning track.
Kholas will pinch their noses and let Schneider finish his contract. Unless, Macdonald is tired of working under Schneider.

At the top, and here to stay!

JS is highly regarded in the NFL. New owners have a top GM and Coach. Roster loaded with talented players - and young. Just one a Super Bowl after a 14-3 season atop the best division in football.

WHY would want to make major changes right away? Foolish. Stand back, be strong and supportive and go get another Lombardi.

It’s true that it is his company and he can do what he wants (as long as the other owners are ok with it) but he didn’t get where he is by spending $9.6 billion on a profitable venture that every professional out there would say is doing it the right way and dismantling it. Nobody in here can speak for him but logic would say that major changes are unlikely in the near future.

these questions for real?
Not just real, expected!

Asking AI how long a new NFL owner waits to fire the inherited GM...

"New NFL owners most commonly fire an inherited General Manager immediately or after one season."

I'm sure he's safe in regards to not getting fired. My concern would be the new owner being intrusive to the point where Schneider is wondering if this is the best situation for him anymore. Not like he couldn't basically have his pick of jobs.

I suspect everything will continue to be fine. You never know with new management though. Don't assume they're smart just because they're rich.

Not only did they just win a SB, they're going to be serious contenders this year as well. That ownership group is going to sit in the box and get caught up in the stadium's energy. The World Cup just emphasized that Seattle may have the best sports culture in the country right now. I'm sure they'll want to make their mark, and I can imagine that being more about AI, analytics, technology enablement, etc.

Don’t disagree.

Having said that, I certainly hope they don’t try to force it (or anything else) into the equation.
The human aspect and “chemistry” matter so much in this situation, and how that relates currently is very important.

We got it going on right now.

Not untrue - but there is a flip side to this - you don't amass a fortune large enough to buy an NFL franchise by being a complete moron - and only a moron would dump JS at this point.
