The incoming new ownership may want their own dude. With Schneider's stock at an all-time high, what can we get for him? I think two 1st and two 3rd would be the base, the floor. He is clearly more important than Russell Wilson with far more impact on any team's well-being, right?

So you are suggesting the new ownership will hate turning a profit and fielding a winning franchise, so theyd bring their own dude in to lower the profits by alienating the fanbase vs keep whats working?

That would be the dumbest billionaire in history heh

A billionaire walks into a successful franchise where the GM has won 2 SB rings with two completely different sets of players on a team and 2 different head coaches and he trades him...

Do they allow one man to own two teams? Because there is only one man I can think of who is egotistically dumb enough to Jones it up this bad.

In all reality... I don't really see a team giving up draft picks for a GM... I know its happened... but its not really the GM in our case its been the culture and what the coaches as a whole want

I said the other day that I want an owner that stays in Seattle and lets the football people make the football decisions so whomever this guy is he is a non starter as our owner.

I don’t think the poster is thinking the new ownership WILL trade Schneider. BUT, billionaires are highly EGOTISTICAL and would probably consider their “own people” even with 2 Super Bowl Championships on the resume.

Is it a smart business move? No, but, I think it is possible for a new owner to want to change things up to their own image.

It’s not entirely out of the possibility.

I wouldn’t recommend the new brass cut ties with the current staff and senior leaders, but, it’s possible they want to restructure things just cause they can.
