I was thinking of famous Seahawk quotes this morning. I wanted to make more of a playoff bracket for the best all time seahawks quote but I went with a poll instead. I don't recall seeing anything like this, at least not recently. What's everyone's favorite quote by a seahawks member all-time.

I still love the Matt Hasselbeck "We want the ball and we're gonna score" quote. All at once I laughed uncontrollably and said WTF are you doing, now we're gonna lose. But I loved the confidence in the moment even if I knew it was the kiss of death by saying that.

I don't have any pre-2000 quotes since over the years I may have survived but many braincells made sacrifices.

He never intended to have his voice get captured on the mic where the entire stadium (and TV audience) heard it. He said him and Favre had been playfully bantering back and forth all game and it was just meant for him as a fun little jab in the moment.

I freakin' love it. Had Bannister run his route correctly, who knows how the game turns out. I remember someone, I think a player or coach at the time had mentioned it was supposed to be a short curl route, but Bannister either timed the route wrong or ran a different route. Matt being the class act he is, never threw Alex under the bus for the Pick 6.

How about Beastmode on sideline during SB48 asking Pete Carrol "is it alright if we score more points?"

I will say I liked the Matt H. comment but had the same uncomfortable feeling but if we had won....would have been amazing.

Of the choices, I think I would have to go with MacD "we did not care" as it was so genuine a response to a dumb question from a kind of quiet guy that clearly is all about that action boss. HEHE.
