He would be a great get. Definitely would instill more confidence in the run game with him on the team.

He would probably want Walker $ and probably require our 1st round pick this year or next. IMO we only make this move if a couple things are true. 1) We actually value RB enough we would have matched KW3's contract from KC and he just didn't give us the chance to. 2) We think Achane is a better RB than KW3. Otherwise, no, I don't see this happening. After this SB win, JS just talked about being overzealous in paying guys during 2015-2020. We're going to play Moneyball with RB.

Achane is a better RB than KW by damn near every statistical measurement you can use to evaluate a player. A lot of homer fans suffer from the inability to look through perspective (like the old saying keep things in perspective) rather than their limited perception. This is why we get fire John threads and people saying "this team is cheap".

I like me some DA. I would NEVER sign him to anything close to what would be required. No way Jose......

We have a draft coming up....and we can certainly get a RB there, and quite possibly a good one in round 2 or 3. DA was drafted in the 3rd round folks.

We don't need him, we have a half a dozen of the dime a dozen RB's already.

Achane is the type of RB you want in the wide zone scheme, a quick/fast runner whose strength is 1 cut and go. The only other RB in the draft who fits this bill is Washington Jr

Not just every statistical category but also the eye test. More of a football player than KW is. That being said, I do not think he is the kind special to give up (draft capital and financial) what it would take to get him.

Not worth it 188 pounds, "drops passes outside of his frame," 8.5" hands, and what's with the 33" vertical? Sure, Mike McDaniel drew up some great plays for him, but we've got a new OC, and we don't have the time to develop a running game to fit Achane before he gets worn down.

Besides, we've already got Tory Horton and Rashid Shaheed. Why spend money and draft capital on Achane? JS was correct, you can find RBs later in the draft. You can't replicate Achane's draft, but he was picked at #84.

I really like Achane when I watched him play and he would be a perfect complement to the Charbs/Wilson style runners. I don't think they would give up a ton of capitol or anything but he would make the offense better for sure. He's a dynamic player and I dont think they have that on the team currently and I'm not sure the draft has that type of runner either.

Bottom line I don't think they get Achane anyway

I agree but will point out he is still on his rookie contract and they appear to be rebuilding.

I've seen rumors of us trading for Breece Hall. I like him too, but that doesn't make a lot of sense because with the money he'll command, might as well have just kept K9.

Pre Rodgers I would have disagreed, Breece was a hell of a running back before Aaron decided he didn't like him. Playing with Rodgers ruined him (or he just lost it, but I like to blame anything on Rodgers I reasonably can and it sure looked like Rodgers hated him for some reason.)

There has been rumors that Hall has told the Seahawks he would play for free I guess he is desperate to get out of NY

Sounds like a win-win to me.

By the way, I'm sure his agent loved hearing that.
