Well?
Becomes less of a good guy if he takes a ton of cap. Big running back deals are almost always a mistake, but as mentioned before other circumstances might make the mistake a necessity.Pay him. As was mentioned above, with Charbonnet suffering a major knee injury and that we don't have much draft capital in addition to the draft not being flush with RB's, we don't have a lot of options.
Besides, he seems like a good guy to have in the locker room.
I flipped flopped early on because K9 was doing that dancing shit. And I know this gets people all bent out of shape, but K9 is absolutely a better RB than Charbs. The team is better with BOTH of them, but that's not really an option until at least mid-season 2026.
Rumor is…JS doesn’t want to do that. There’s potential he signs for lower than what the tag would cost. But, there’s always that team that will unload the Brinks truck for him as well. Remember Shaq and Jacksonville?Id absolutely tag him if we don't come to terms on a deal. He's absolutely worth it for a season.
Yeah, I heard that rumor. I'm hoping they're at least open to it, but I understand why they'd want to avoid it until it's necessary.Rumor is…JS doesn’t want to do that. I’m with you though..JS hasn’t done this a lot (I read maybe twice since being in Seattle), but I’d tag him in a heartbeat. Especially with Charb coming off of injury.
I heard this morning on the radio that a tag is likelyI’ve heard rumor that we’re not tagging him.
