I trust Schneider to put an even better defense on the field next year. Woolen, Jobe, Bryant and Mafe are all free agents, and I expect we'll lose at least half of them. After you win a Super Bowl, other teams will over-value your players. Of those four, I hope that we can keep Josh Jobe, but I think some team will overpay for someone like him.

I don't think it'll be a big issue to lose these four. None of them are irreplaceable. Schneider will also have to find a way to upgrade the defensive line, with Jarran Reed and Demarcus Lawrence being 34 years old this year.

I expect Woolen to be gone. Which is addition by subtraction but CB will be one of our biggest needs in the off-season. Edge is another.
I think so as well. They should keep Jobe IMO. There's a few good options at the top of their draft if they don't go the FA route.

Mafe was pretty invisible this year. If he's smart, he'll sign a one-year deal to re-establish his value, but he played for this team and at a premium position, so I won't be surprised at all if someone way overpays him. Almost feels inevitable.

I think so, core is still around for awhile. Woolen can go get money elsewhere, dude is beyond frustrating. Jobe took his job and they can probably draft the outside nickel/dime replacement in the draft. Love is solid, Bryant isn't asked to do much when they sit 2 deep shells so I doubt they need to look for a new FS.

Mafe is a great rotational piece and hope they can get him to stay, if not eh. Rest of the front 7 is fairly locked in. I assume JS/MM continue to build out the trenches through the draft and just keep loading up on absolute dogs up front.

Mocks have them taking a Cb 1st pick from SC. Eman and Jones did well from there.

Might be an unpopular take but I don’t think the haul that will be required to get Crosby will be worth it. Stay young. Draft and develop. Find very select B free agents and elevate to As. What we did with additions of Tank Lawrence, Shaheed, EJ IV, etc is a perfect example.

Expect urgency on Draft needs and acquisitions at Interior OL, DB, DE, LB, WR for ‘26 campaign… anxious to see Charbs recovery timeline and what kind of contract we offer against the market for K9 - we could quickly be back in the RB needs category as well depending on those variables.

Crosby isnt happening. We don't have what it would take to acquire him. We tried last off-season and failed.

If you go to every team's message board across the league, you'll find a post about Crosby. It'd be prohibitively expensive to get him. Aside, Kubiak should try to make it right with him. Kubiak's got 2 years, maybe 3, to show some progress or he's out. Getting draft capital in a historically bad class isn't going to help him there.

Mafe is hard to evaluate from a fan perspective. His numbers were not great, and definitely down from previous. It's just hard to know what kind of contributions he makes away from the ball and what kind of value the team puts on him. Or other teams, but yeah, someone could overpay. And Nwosu and Hall are kinda in the same boat next year.

We don't need Crosby, look across our d line and the back ups, we do it collectively, every game all I hear is they do it with 4, they do it with 4. The formula works, don't **** with the formula for a name piece. We did that twice with Adams and Harvin, lesson learned.
