Just looking at 2026 CAP space and players who are signed through next season.... Hawks are looking really good.

Only have 4 draft picks but they are in the 1, 2, 3, and 6 rounds. Could make a big splash there.

Not to mention... Free agency.

Yeah we may well be better next year and have a dynasty going forward. But the fact is its like Dan Campbell said after the Lions lost the NFC title game a few years ago:

You never know when or if this group of guys ever gets back to this position. So we gotta make the most of it now and win it all

We may have a lot of players signed, but our defensive line has a lot of guys at various spots in the process of aging out of their prime - Lawrence (33), Williams (31), Reed (33), Nwosu (29). And many of our free agency departures are notably concentrated in the back seven (Bryant, Woolen, Jobe, Thomas, Okada) along with Walker and Rashid (both of whom could well be re-signed) and Boye Mafe.

We're going to have a lot of holes to fill, and not a lot of draft picks to do it unless we trade down. We do have some promising depth to try out, like Mills and Horton.

I would expect more than one significant free agency addition.

(it will feel very nice having a SB title under our belt going into next year, though)
