So stupid, but typical for that franchise. And there was actually a decent candidate in Scheelhaase who WANTED the job for some reason. Rams get to keep a good coach for another year.

Really uninspired choice. The Ravens' offense was successful because of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, not because of Todd Monken. Monken is 59 years old, he's no young offensive genius.

I think the Browns should have hired Jim Schwartz, their defensive coordinator.

This is already turning into peak Browns. They lost out on better candidates because they insisted that any candidate keep Jim Schwartz on as DC. They settle for Monken, and now Schwartz is upset he didn't get the HC job and is telling everyone he's leaving.

Can't imagine the hopelessness of having such a loser owner.

I just hope the 49ers don't call Jim Schwartz. Or the Packers. Keep the guy out of the NFC.

The Niners are the team he's being linked to early.

I'd feel bad for Gus Bradley, who was expected to get that job.

Hey I am good with this….one less team to poach Kubiak!
I think Schneider needs to do all he can to keep Kubiak happy, even if that means throwing him some money off the books lol the Value in the coaching staff we have right now is immense . Our defensive coordinator when we had the LOB was a priceless asset, the value to having a Robert Salah at defensive coordinator priceless, Kubiak at offensive coordinator absolutely priceless.

Las Vegas and Arizona?
I think Kubiak is going to one of those. Adam Schefter made that statement and he isn't wrong very often.

I cant see why he would be interviewing (a second time) if he wasn't planning on taking one of those jobs.

Raiders look like the better job on paper - but the culture is and has been an absolute dumpster fire forever. 5 coaches in 5 years or something like that? But they have #1 pick QB and a couple nice pieces in Bowers and Crosby. Maybe something in Jeanty?

Cards are no picnic either - QB issues, obvious lack of talent and crap - cheap - ownership. Super tough division against guys who know your offense well.

Make your choice wisely Coach.
