I am so sick of the media slobbering over Stafford.

well I wasn't surprised on on FIRST TAKE, Stephen slammed SD, and Mina ... die "hard hawks fan" picked the Rams to win, while Dan O... also slobbed all over Stafford. SMH

This shits like the SB where everyone slobbered all over Payton and the Broncos.

Those claiming that Stafford has "been through hell" in the face of what Darnold had to go through is like saying a Rich man struggled financially.

I'm sorry but if you have friggin' MEGATRON to throw to in just about half your career as QB, I have zero sympathy.

Try playing for the f--king Jets (who did NOTHING to support Darnold both offensively and Defensively) and Panthers (with that idiot Rhule and moron Tepper) with basically no one (aside from DJ Moore) to throw to while constantly dealing with everyone saying you suck every day even when he finally found success.

Stafford's "Been through hell", my ass.

Doesn't matter how long.

He had MEGATRON to throw to.

Sam had NO ONE to throw to.

I am a fan of Darnold, just respect the Journey Stafford has been thru and being able to stay real.

This is all feeding Sam's inner ginger child, his hair was orange, his heart was full, but alas, the pretty blonde making the ginger always the bridesmaid. Sam's catching that bouquet, that's Sam's bouquet Debbie, back off look at his eyes, back off.

Stafford started his playoff career 0-3, even when throwing to MEGATRON. Six sacks, 3 picks. He sucks. You just can't trust him.

In contrast, at least Sam is 1-1 to start his playoff career.

I feel like Matthew Stafford's luck is about to run out. He's had an amazing season, at age 37, with a broken back and all, playing better than he has ever played in his life. That just can't last.

By the same token, Sam had more than his share of bad luck in the two LA games. The Rams don't have his number, he just had a little bad luck. His luck against the Rams is about to turn his way.

There is nothing special or magical about the Rams' secondary. If you take away the interceptions they had against Darnold, the Rams only had 10 interceptions all year.

Sam Darnold may not be better than Matt Stafford but he is better and more accurate than the last 4 QBs the Rams have played - Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, Jacoby Brissett, and Kirk Cousins. Plus the Seahawks defense has been a much better since they played the Rams in Week 16. Their closest game since then was a 10 point win against 49ers in week 18. For those that watched it know that game wasn't as close as the score indicates. The Seahawks defense has given up only one touchdown total in the past 3 games.

Stafford played in Detroit. Detroit.

Sure, he had Megatron to throw to, but there is a reason an athlete like Megatron retired early, to say nothing for Barry Sanders. You are talking about two of the best to ever do it at their positions, who both could have shattered every known record at their respective positions walked away from the game with plenty of mileage left. Why? Because Detroit was an abomination. You know how bad a franchise has to be for not one, but two HOF players to walk away, rather than play longer for their team and realize the full potential of their careers?

And a QB can have 5 Megatrons to throw to. If his O line doesnt give him time or if his OC is inept, the talent around him matters less.

Is Detroit the NYJ? No, but i think its pretty fair to say there are more than a few 'crap' organizations that can put a QB through hell.

I don't have any hate towards Stafford. I also don't have an issue with the media doing what they do. The Seahawks defense is elite. Stafford is an elite QB with a SB win under his belt. Darnold looks really good, but turnovers definitely plagued him this season and he is 1-1 in playoffs, plus his latest win did not require him to do much other than...don't lose the game. Darnold is sadly heading into this game not 100% based of of comments from MM as well. So lower likelihood that this is the game that Darnold shuts up the critics.

Detroit, Detroit, Detroit. This franchise’s ineptitude is the reason I never became a bandwagon fan during our 2-14 season even with Sanders in his heyday. I’ve been a Seattle Seahawks diehard since I was 10 and haven’t wavered. I will NEVER bandwagon.

And here’s what I can’t stand about Lions fans. They bandwagon BIG TIME.
It gets on my nerves big time. Remember XL and the Bettis bullshit? Those terrible towel wavers were majority Lions fans

When Stafford went to The Lambs before Campbell came around, guess how many bandwagon Lambs fans were created? THE MAJORITY of supposed die hard Lions fans. It made me want to puke.
In all my years living in Michigan, I have met very few true diehards.

Diehards ALWAYS root for their team, no matter what.

I totally get hoping a former player does well on another team EXCEPT when they play your team and ESPECIALLY if they end up in you team’s division.
When Russell left, he was no longer on MY TEAM. So, I didn’t root for his new teams because they are not MY TEAM. I didn’t care for Gino much but I still rooted for him because he was the QB of MY TEAM.

Do I root for Russell’s teams? NO! Do I root for Bobby’s teams? HELL NO! Did I root for Sherman’s team? HELL NO!
These Lions fans are beyond sufferable because they are such stupid bandwagon bitches.
It sucks living in Michigan with all these new Rams fans. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Rant over

I'll enjoy the game but I won't let it go. EVER.

Especially when someone is claiming that Stafford had it rough.

Give me a friggin' break, man.
