I was not at Lumen for this past weekends bludgeoning of the Whiners, but, with Seattle sending a warning to season ticket holders selling their tickets, was it less Whiners fans at the game than previous games now?

Have we gotten back to 90 percent 12s at Lumen now?

Anyone can confirm what they observed if they were at the game?

High majority 12s definitely needs to continue into this Sunday.

There was never more rival fans than Seahawks fans, at any game.

I heard on Brock and Salk that part of the problem is that the broadcast camera mostly shows those 100 level seats behind the visitor bench. Those tickets are sold to brokers who tend to sell them to away fans who have the bucks to afford them.

I do not know why the Seahawks cannot just stop selling these tickets to brokers but in any case - they are saying it looks worse than it is.

Yes! I was there. The usual higher concentration of opposing fans was present on the lower east sideline. It was still probably 70% Seahawks fans down there.
The rest of the stadium was more like 97% Seahawks fans from what I could see.

Fewer 49'ers in our area than at either of the last two home games against them.

I got a warning email from the Seahawks when I put two tickets up for sale for the playoffs (I had bought two others as an upgrade).

They are hypocrites. There is no way they are going to punish the 'pure resellers' - those are the ticket holders that allow the Seahawks to keep raising prices. They raise the prices and only the more affluent Seahawks fans and the resellers can afford them. Last year I had to sell a few seats to afford to go to games - not so with resellers as they sell ALL of their tickets. Then the Seahawks threaten us and only the Seahawks fans (not resellers) respond by selling fewer tickets. The resellers are the Seahawks bread and butter. They are hypocrites when they say they want more Seahawks fans at the games. Sure, but not if they can make more money through selling high-priced tickets to resellers. Lower the prices for season ticket holders, remove rights of the resellers (identifying them is simple, simple, simple), and THEN threaten the season ticket holders who remain. I went to all but one regular season game this year, but it was the honey, not the stick that encouraged me (although I still would have gone to as many games as I could attend): telling me that if I went to all the games, I would have an earlier shot at seat upgrades. Put down your stick and just punish the 'purely for profit' season ticket holders.

okay, stepping down.

edited to add: when I was trying to figure out what playoff tickets were going for, I found rows of 8 or more seats for sell. The Seahawks absolutely know this is going on, and it's been going on for years.

I was at the home opener and the playoff game. Hope opener was 30 percent niners fans. Playoff game was 5-10 percent

You guys have not had a home playoff game that wasn’t during Covid for a while so there would be much more demand in the local area. They definitely showed up

Wasn’t even close to the percentages you quoted. Maybe 10-15% at the home opener and 1 percent at the playoff game. They are concentrated in certain areas so it can look like more, but it’s really a small number.

Lot of Bay Area transplants in Seattle anyway. I read that Seattle gained significant population in the last 5 years while CA was losing some.

Not true. I was at a game in the Kingdome against the Packers and it was way more cheesehead's than 12s. Rick Mirer was the QB.

I was at that game, it was terrible. But we are talking about Lumen, not the Kingdome check the title.

Yeah contrary to all the shit posting on various SM sites from 49ers about how much more Red and 49er fans there were, I found there the fan was legitimately humble and was all “there aren’t a lot of 49er fans, definitely way more Seattle fans, this’ll be fun!”

It was 85 percent Hawks fans. Maybe more. Why is that people can't understand that MOST of the broadcast faces the visitors side?? You'll always see fans back there. Pan thru the stands and all you see is Hawks fans. Without a doubt the LEAST Niners fans at a game in Seattle. Period.

Side note, I also found that this was the most mellow of the Niners fans in years. Didn't hear much of anything. Idiots selling Niners gear outside talked mad smack before and after. That was funny.

I would agree, but we ran into a couple of 'problem 9ers'. We were on Row M on the 2nd deck and there were two 49er fans on the first row. They insisted on standing. People yelled at them to sit down and they refused. It took a real big guy getting in their face, and even then they did it a few more times - not when anyone else was standing. Total dipshits. They were the only 49'ers I saw in our section.

Again, it's all about winning. Get the fans riled up and they make noise. If the visitors start kicking our ass, our fans sit on their hands and the visitor fans sound like they own the place.

Sat night, Shahid did that on the opening kickoff and it was party time at the Clink the rest of the way. Not expecting similar things come Sunday, but it's important that we don't give the Lambs that kind of impetus.

That was crazy to me. So many vendors selling/repping Niners gear. The lady taking orders at The Original Philly Cheesesteak food truck inside the North gate plaza area was wearing a Niners jersey. Mind blowing.

Californicators have been migrating up here since I can remember, and thats a while, it just became a exodus the last 20 years or so, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana have all seen huge influxes. Does not surprise me we have a lot of local 49er, Rams, Raiders support here.

The last game I attended at Lumen was the Mason Rudolph led Steelers late in the 2024 season. It might not have been 50% Steeler fans, but it was damn close if not. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but when there's a waiting list of actual Sehawk fans wanting season tickets, I'm in favor of Jody making STH's either go to the games or relinquish their privilege for the next season.
