Betting against the Hawks? (n)
Yea, I don’t understand that one bit (as a Seahawk fan).

If you’re hung up on gambling there’s 1000’s of other bets to make.

The thought of actually putting money against my Seahawks makes me feel like I need a bath. 🤮

If you have a “gambling” problem…

…call (800)-522-4700

For real, if you are a Seahawk fan AND you’re betting against them, you have a gambling problem.

Call for help, or make different bets.

Smart gamblers ask me for my thoughts and then bet the opposite. But I don’t know this guy.

Don't think of it as a bet. Think of it as an insurance policy. If we lose, the $100 of winnings will help soothe my aching soul.
I was thinking the same when Texas played Texas A&M, but in the end just couldn’t bet against my team.

Wow, I love this dudes videos. Very insightful. And very telling stats.

I think this is the reason Macdonald was hired, because he showed that he knew how to stop Shanahan's offense.

The question in this game is whether Shanahan has an answer to the Macdonald defense. I'm sure that Shanahan has some ideas, but he's severely hampered by the lack of receivers. It would be a different game with George Kittle, Deebo Samuels and even Brandon Aiyuk.

Saleh's defense is the other key. He did a pretty good job of stopping the Eagles, although you wonder if the Eagles stopped themselves. Saleh at least has his defense playing hard, and that goes a long way. But the key to Saleh's defense is a solid defensive line, which he doesn't have. If you can't stop the run or generate any pressure, it's hard to scheme anything. I think that the Seahawks having seen how Saleh's defense play two weeks ago will be able to exploit it more this time around.

We are the healthier more physical team but games like these are more mental than physical. I know shanahan is good at this since he lost a lot of good players this season yet here they are.

Hoping we see that same mentality from our guys, will be a real test for our young head coach.

Two fellas with almost 100,000 posts combined on a message board telling others they have a problem is.....something. Fans like to soften the blow in case the team loses. Happens every single day, it's called superstition. If I were to bet on the Hawks, they'd lose, so y'all are welcome I'm not doing it .

I have never bet on a football game, but a few times each season, when I'm feeling 'brilliant', I bet $1,000 in pretend money on 5-6 games. I have never - not even once - finished positive. I could literally bet randomly and do better.

True there's no way to really win in those casinos. As long as you're having fun in the end.

Watching 'The Herd' today, M.J. asked who Cowherd thought was the better coach, and he said Shanahan for offense, McDonald for defense. M.J. then asked who was the better QB, and Cowherd said Darnold, adding that Darnold has more talent. M.J. vehemently disagreed with both.

My thinking is that Shanahan has been around long enough that, if not thrown any surprises and he's ahead at halftime, he's probably better. But McDonald has shown a better ability to figure things out, although he waits until the 3rd quarter. So both are reluctant to give up their game plans, but Shanahan never lets go of his - his only fault that I can see. I'll take Darnold all day long as QB, given the defenses they are each facing. Purdy won't be able to go long, and if we get the run game going, which we should, Kubiak (so, Darnold) will have all options open.

I'll be absolutely stunned if we lose Saturday; however, I'll save $1,350 in NFCCG ticket costs and will be able to fix my brakes.

I have only been in a casino three times. Two were slot machines only, and the people looked really miserable - cadavers with cigarettes basically. I don't see how anyone has fun; however, I walked by the craps table the third time I went, and there was some exuberance.

They're depressing in Vegas and even moreso here unfortunately. But I digress. We will win Saturday and it'll all be water under the bridge. Sorry your brakes will have to wait. Don't drive fast.
