Low Anxiety Weekend For Us Hawk Fans

This is an AROS kind of weekend for football. You can watch quality games/matchups with interest, yet without the pressure of our season being on the line. It's sort of the perfect football vacation for us Hawk fans. It's like a bye week without the disappointment of us not playing.

I’ll be watching the Panthers/Rams game while getting a much needed workout in at Planet Fitness.

Then, the anxiety kicks in Sunday when I have company over to watch some of the games. I need to balance the chips, dips, drinks and pizza menu, keeping the other’s dietary needs and restrictions in mind.
It’s important to change out the dip, preferably every quarter like Doug Heffernan, while maintaining a good chip partner on the table.

I’d like to give a shout out to Trader Joe’s for having such a marvelous dip selection, which also include gluten free options. Do I sound like a Karen yet? Well, don’t blame me, blame the guests.

In the end, I’ll need to go workout again after the festivities end and everyone goes home.

That's why they invented pot luck gatherings. (If you have unique dietary needs, bring 'em yourself) :)

Noice. Love watching sporting events while on the tread or bike at the gym. And man do I need to get back at it.

You and me both. Have yet to hit the gym in 2026. And I'm fairly certain that when I say calories don't count during the holidays, I may in fact be mistaken.

"Babe! The dryer is shrinking my pants again!"

I hope to eat, poop and drink a lot. All while watching a ridiculous amount of football.
I really don't want to pry, but I'm trying to understand one part of this. You hope to poop a lot?
Or you want to eat and poop normally, but drink a lot. That I can understand. I didn't know people enjoy pooping a lot. Once a day is tits for me.

Can't stress just how important proper punctuation is with that sentence. 😅

Well if the Panthers beat the Rams...again, then that punctuation disappears 'cause Stafford, McVay, Puka and all Rams fans are going to be eating poop and drinking a lot. 🙃

It's quite annoying how much faster you can put it on than it is to take it off.
Also the importance of not having typos.

For example, change one word in your comment and it sounds like something totally different :
