Hmm...the list so far...

--Brian Daboll
--Raheem Morris
--Pete Carroll
--Kevin Stefanski
--Johnathan Gannon

Am I missing anyone?

The thing is...the list of replacement candidates don't jump out at me like it has in year's past. This could be an interesting game of musical chairs.

Who's up next?

I wonder if a first round play off loss is enough for Tomlin. Feels like where we were with Pete in that things got stale.

That missed FG by the Ravens kicker probably bought him another year, even after they get bounced by Houston. That's gotta be maddening for Stealers fans. 😂

That's an old roster that's probably due for a rebuild. I just wonder if fan patience runs out.

Anyone ever wonder, if we had kept Geno Smith, we would be possibly writing about John's ending about now?

No because giving up on Geno fit his management perfectly. He tried him, did okay, had no great alternatives, gave up. I did not like the choice of Darnold, but he has proven me wrong. Schneider is really good. During the 49'ers game they showed him on t.v. and my girlfriend asked who he was - I told her it was John Schneider, the best GM in the NFL.

He would at least have melted down against the 49ers like he always done against them when the game actually mattered.

How does Chris Ballard seem to always survive being a GM for as long as he has. Been at the Colts forever and barring 1? year of Andrew Luck have been mediocre or a dumpster fire.

Titans fired their HC Brian Callahan earlier in the season.

I admit as well that I wasn't too keen on the Darnold signing, but glad I was wrong too. Did you point out to your girlfriend that's our GM the one with sweaty pits? 😂

That's such a great comparison, but I'd be surprised if they fired Tomlin because their loyalty for him is absolutely insane.

Same for Harbaugh. The sports talking heads kept saying losing coach of that game might get fired. really? Relatively easy field goal is missed, so coach is fired? If made, the other coach is fired? The things these guys discuss in order to keep us amused.

Baltimore were still viewed as contenders last year. The Steelers haven't been for a very long time. Kind of like the Seahawks under late stage Pete. Solid bubble play off team but in no danger to contend most years. You worry if he leaves you'll stink but you could also get better.

And it starts, well it started with Tennessee and the Giants, but teams want to get a jump on guys they can interview.
If only Tennessee could get a good coach to get them to the playoffs.

New England has a good one.

Haha. And soon we might be thinking the same thing about Cleveland and whoever hires Stefanski. I thought Mike Smith would go somewhere else and succeed after Arthur Blank had a senior moment and fired him, but I guess that experience made him sick of the NFL.
