From what I've seen it seems as if they should be using the TEs a whole lot more.
I think Horton has been missed more than we thought he would. Since he’s been down the offense has be shittyWe lost both Shaheed and Cody White, everyone please remember this. We have not had our left tackle for two games. Kubiaked a little early on. We need two out of three of Shaheed, Cross, Horton to do anything in the playoffs.
Officiating in the league seems at an all time low. Don't just watch this game.
Its everywhere. You keep a game close and you are literally enabling 1 or 2 bad calls in a game to be the reason you lost it.
Keeping a game close is a stupid gameplan in the playoffs.
The offense did not pull its weight today. That needs to be fixed.
We do that next week against the 49ers and we are looking at an L.
Where are the holes and weaknesses?I have never witnessed a Hawks team do this well (schedule wise) while having so many glaring weaknesses and roster holes. Given the current League landscape of having essentially a "down year" of no clear cut dominant teams, anyone who makes it into the tournament can win it. Going to be hard to predict and really kind of fun to watch.
Glaring is the slow starts and inconsistency, talent is there all across the board. Head scratching issue really, Why? But come 3rd quarter it seems to get corrected.Glaring holes and weaknesses? I must be watching a different team. EVERY team has their weaknesses. But glaring? Hmmmm
Did you notice last game that they tried first three plays to get the ball to JSN instead of figuring out at halftime how they are defending him? That’s progress. The winning formula for this team, is to wade through Kubiaks garbage game plan, and Darnolds 1 to 2 first half turnovers. Weather that Storm riding the defense, and hang on keeping the game close.
Go into halftime with all 3 timeouts, make the necessary offensive adjustments, and play winning football to close it out for the victory. Love it. Go Hawks.
offensive weakness? we have the highest point differential in the NFL.Agreed, but my concern is our offensive weakness is a coaching problem. Which means it's not fixable this season.
Production in the first half, and questionable sequences of play calling every game. Better?offensive weakness? we have the highest point differential in the NFL.
Really?Where are the holes and weaknesses?
and yet they are the number 2 scoring offense in the NFL that averages 29.4 pts per game and has 50 TD's.Really?
They have 13 wins in spite of all this, which is impressive. But just because we're one win away from the #1 seed doesn't mean there aren't some serious flaws. We get into the divisional round and the NFCCG and all of these weaknesses will be exploited. Hell, the 49er game alone on Saturday may do that alone.
- Weak Center.
- Turnstyle Right Guard.
- Entire offensive line giving up too much pressure on Sam.
- Same offensive line not run blocking consistently well.
- Inconsistent run game, due primarily to O-Line, but Walker has some blame here.
- Sam Darnold throwing 14 interceptions this season, and it's not over yet.
- Sam Darnold not making particularly good decisions in big games and/or under duress. As in ever in his career.
- No dominant edge rusher.
- Inconsistent offensive game planning from Kubiak, especially in the first half. Probably has something to do with 1-5 above, to be fair to Klint.
And, yes, they are glaring. But I don't wear rose colored glasses.

I would rather he make adjustments by the end of the 1st quarter myself. Not a fan of Kubiak, if you are, great.
But for anyone to say our first half offense hasnt been stagnant in the first half of games the majority of the second half of the season, and that that is not a potential issue moving forward is not being realistic.
I'm Not saying the offense doesn't eventually come around and put up points, just saying they haven't been putting up points in the first half since the bye. Why? Because Kubiak comes in with sh*t game plans, cant ever seem to adjust on the fly, and then has sequences of play calls that leave people scratching their heads.
Fortunately they have been able to make the necessary adjustments at halftime.
How long can they sustain success like that. Time will tell.
Agreed.I would rather he make adjustments by the end of the 1st quarter myself.
But it's been working thus far.
I think the Defense will be able to hold down Dork Puny (Purdy's new name) long enough for our offense to get in gear.
