And it all comes down to this.

Deep down, we all knew it to be true. All the marbles. The one seed, NFC West crown…At the 49ers.

I’m not sure who is more punch worthy right now. Puka’s insane ability to catch anything and everything while being an immature kid or Brock Purdy and that horrific dance celebration he does. Slight edge to Purdy.

I have an insane amount of respect for what Shanahan has been able to accomplish with a legit M*A*S*H unit all year. 12 wins is incredible. Their defense is thankfully trash otherwise I might be picking against us this week. Good news is the Seahawks defense is much stouter and elite than the Bears defense so no worrying about Brock throwing 5 TDs against us.

Darnold and JSN should rekindle that magic they had earlier in the season. Pound the rock again like we did in Carolina.

Our defense brings Purdy and company back down to earth and our offense has the firepower to score against their weak defense.

Not a cakewalk. It never is in these divisional battles, but the better team will win and that is your 13-3 Seattle Seahawks.

I HATE this team and fanbase with a passion. I'll give props to Coach Kyle for winning with back-ups, but that's the only compliment this team is getting from me. This feels EXACTLY like that 49ers vs Ravens game on X-mas day back in 2023. The Ravens flew into California and absolutely punched the 49ers in the mouth. I expect the same here. I think our Defense is gonna take over this game and we win soundly. Darnold will have an alright game this time around.

Hawks - 31
49ers - 17

To me, the key to the Hawks winning ways this year is that we're the best team in the NFC collectively at all three phases of the game, offense, defense, and special teams. I don't think this is talked about often enough. It's our secret sauce. One or more of these units is always there to pick up the slack when one of the units is getting beat. Think about it. We beat the Colts with six FG's. Two returns for TD's changed the momentum of games. Our D holds the fort in the first half when our O is lacking, then the O explodes in the second half. No team in the NFC has more ways that they can beat you.

I say we beat the 9ers because of this, like we've been doing all season, with our collective balance/weaponry.

Thursday evening , Mr Purdy goes on a walk to clear his mind. While trying to avoid stepping on a hypodermic, he trips on the curb and face plants in a steamy pile of San Francisco. His resulting pink eye spreads through the locker room like the plague. TMZ runs the footage 24/7 .

Close game, as CMC plays well . Charbs carrie's the rock effectively and K9 catches a pivotal pass for a 3rd qtr TD. TE's are heavily involved in the passing game and even Bobo catches an 11 yard pass on 3rd down to keep a TD drive going. Sam , in a New Years miracle doesn't throw a pick.

Hawks take it 26 - 24

That is a very solid analysis of both teams. My prediction for Bears game was that the Bears can run up the score on them but need to hold them under 30 points. Bears defense couldn’t do it, but I think Seahawks will. Darnold doesn’t need to play great, but he does need to be a good game manager and take care of the ball.

I’ll be the first …

I think we are subject to a couple
of awful calls that extend Niner drives. Purdy is allowed to run east to west while our guys get held to convert on third and medium/long.

It will come down to the final drive and the Niners get in field goal range.

Niners - 20
Seahawks- 17

However -

We will meet again with a slightly sharper blade and end them in the playoffs.

I'm having a little trouble being overly optomistic. I think it was the year we drafted Murphy I predicted our year to win the SB would be 2026. That means, according to my vision, we won't make it through the long run this year.
But gawl dangit we are DUE to gouge the Niners. We used to own them. We used to own this conference! But for the last few years we have struggled to stay with them and the Rams. I don't want to see us stay with them. I want to see us tromple them into their own mier. Or at least win this BIG game.
Go Hawks! Lets get this one. One game at a time.
