Did you read my post to the end? Obviously not. If you had. You wouldn't have wasted time typing that last bit about a 'YOU' problem.

I have no problem. I'm a Hawks fan. Have been since 1982. But I am not blind, nor do I wear glasses of any shade.

Our team is good with the potential to be great. But we have some pretty obvious flaws that could do is in before we even get started. Simple fact.

We could be out in round 1. We could win it all. If you are asking me to predict which will happen... I have no idea. You can't come back from multiple INT games every week.

Think we might be misunderstanding each other. I specifically asked you not to take it personal because I was using 'YOU' as a generality and all-caps'd "PREDICTING". I feel you 1000%.

Soul - I think you are mistaking sober, objective analysis for hopelessness.
Our team can be great and flawed, sometime fatally so.

The 9ers can be an incredibly formidable opponent, setup well to exploit our weaknesses AND be beatable.

Everything you just said applies to the Niners, or ANY team in the NFC. All of them.
Claiming that they just flat out can't beat or won't beat the Niners though? Silly, even for Rat. Who hates me anyway.
Not going down this road again, but FFS, why are so many Hawks fans afraid of how damn good this team really is? Let alone afraid of our opponents??? No room for fear. Rams and Niners are very good teams. Hawks are every bit as good as the Rams or Niners. Period.

The 9ers defense is terribly flawed. Their defense is a far bigger flaw now than any concerns of our offense. Did anybody else watch the 9ers defense getting shredded by the Bears last night? 49ers offense...good. Our offense...good, even with its flaws. 49ers defense...highly suspect. Our defense...one of the best in the league. Special teams? At worst a wash.

I don't get this 49er fear? Sure, they might beat us. Anything can happen. But going into the game, there's no reason at all to think that they're the better team.
