Not gonna lie. I was ready to literally crucify Darnold about halfway through the 4th quarter. And by literally, I mean figuratively.

He was, once again, absolutely horrible in a big game... until the very last drive of the game in OT when he wasn't.

I will be eating some of this little fella for dessert.

Ya I'll send Sam an xmas card...

Way better than the last starter we had lol. He is the qb man, no reason to be a Debbie downer. Its a win man!! We just beat the team that has had our ass the last5 years? 8 years? Probably 10ish years . Even mr almost record holder for most losses use to win against the Hawks. Its a win, just enjoy this!

That ALMOST-Pick-6 was a big oof.

BUT he. found. a. way.

Like against the Colts.

He did it against the Rams.

This come from behind victory, will change Sam. He now knows he can win any game.
Man..I hope so. Winning is the ultimate stat so, he’s got that going for us.

But, there’s been moments where I’m like….what in the Sam hell is happening?

Back from a great Hawks dinner party. It wasn't pretty for Sam, but by golly he had ghosts closing in on him like a wild fire and somehow he pulled it off. That's what it takes sometimes to turn a corner like that. This could prove to be a significant step for him tonight.

Here's one of the NFL podcasts I really like. At the 16:00 minute mark, they talk about why it's so hard to play QB in the NFL. They thought the defensive disguises on those two interceptions were phenomenal and really tough to diagnose in real time. And yet, he shook it off and delivered in the 4th quarter and overtime. If you're going to obsessively ding him for the Lions and Rams game last year, you got to give him one back for this one.
