Also per Statmuse :

The Texans seem to be a team Sam plays well against no matter what team he is on. 😂

Texans are an interesting team, they played 3 playoff contenders yo start the season 0-3 but all were close games. Since then they’ve won 2 in a row by a combined score of 70-10.

I don’t think they have as much talent as we do but I kind of look at them right now as being kind of an AFC version of us. Still finding their way each week by competing against the best teams and soundly beating teams they should beat.

I believe our offense will have an easier time this week than the defense but I’m hoping Mike comes out having them fire on all cylinders like last week.

They moved to Jacksonville and then a few years later were authorized an expansion team and named them Texans.

Bud Adams moved the Oilers to Tennessee and renamed them the Titans. When Houston was granted an expansion team, Adams refused to allow them to use the name Oilers or the color scheme, which he owned. It was very petty of Adams because he wasn't going to use the Oilers name anytime soon.

When Cleveland got a new team after their original team moved to Baltimore, they were able to use the name and colors because I think they negotiated those rights after the team moved.

Last year, the NFL forced the Titans to relinquish the rights to the Oilers' original color scheme to Houston so that they could use them in their throw-back uniforms.

Texans defense is #1 in PPG and #4 in Total Yards allowed this season.

Will be a good test for this offense.

Super agressive teams can be fooled with misdirection. Not asking for full on trick plays, but I hope Kubiak has some trickery up his sleeve. Need some pre-snap movement and formation variations.
Agree, there could be an opportunity when they over pursue.

K9 running north and south instead of east and west might be all the misdirection we need.

Texans are bringing the top defense in the NFL to Lumen Monday night along with shut down corner Derek Stingley who will more than likely shadow JSN all day. Not to mention Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter rushing the passer. I believe they have 7 of their 12 sacks this season.

Very stout against the run, so kubiak has got to come up with some kind of scheme to loosen up the box so we can have some successful runs to set up our play action stuff.

JSN will probably not be roaming free with Stingley on him like last week, so it's imperative we get Kupp, TE's, Horton, and the backs involved in the passing game.

Hopefully we get some of our DBs back for this game because Niko Collins is no joke and will command attention.

All and all I like our chances in this one, hopefully the Dline will continue to dominate, and we get our dogs back in the secondary.

Texans are a good team, this defense will be a real test for us. I think it will be a very low scoring grind it out kind of game. In other words, just like every other seahawks game. Go Hawks.

In order to run north and south, there needs to be some north and south running lanes. Earl Campbell couldn't run north and south behind this interior line consistently.

Not only mix in misdirection but some well executed RB screens.

This will be a tough game. Someone other than JSN will need to step up. This team mirrored their defense to Sanfran's. Their head coach is a very good play caller aswell. They don't have to blitz alot to get pressure. They get their pressure with the front 4. This will be a battle.
