What is going on with Kendrick on that last couple of plays? When the ball carrier took an angle he just stopped running and gave up. Then on the TD, he didn't get any leverage at all and got washed immediately in a block.
Saw that. Disappointed that he looked like he was standing watching them run by. I've been on the Kendrick fan bus lately. He better get his head in the game. What is going on with Kendrick on that last couple of plays? When the ball carrier took an angle he just stopped running and gave up. On the second play, I don't disagree with you, and I feel it's the lesser of the issues.DBs who meaningfully impact the run game are rarer than you think and they typically don't just sprout up from the bottom of your depth chart
i still think he's better than woolen lolTHAT Kendrick! Yeah, I know that Kendrick. You're welcome.
Yeah, he's still helped us a lot more than hurt us so far. So, thanks.THAT Kendrick! Yeah, I know that Kendrick. You're welcome.
He's still better than Tre Brown though..THAT Kendrick! Yeah, I know that Kendrick. You're welcome.
I can understand that, you're saying he's like Tariq Woolen. But as long as his great plays outweigh the bad ones, he's still better than Woolen.Yes. He's better than a lot of players, a lot of the time. However, he also gives up on small plays far too often -which then turn into big plays. That impacts on how teammates perform. The bottom line is he didn't fit the Rams team mantra. He's a good play/lack of effort conundrum. Eventually the lack of effort will break you.
He's played like Woolen for several years, only he made fewer good plays and more bad plays. He played 1000+ snaps which got him a 4th year pay increase under the proven player scheme. The Rams said they weren't interested in him at $3M+ so they released him. He was a FA for 3 days, able to sign with any interested team. He came back to the Rams on a near min-wage contract...and 6 weeks later we cut him again!I can understand that, you're saying he's like Tariq Woolen. Well, maybe Coach Mac can turn that around. Like I said, so far his great plays have far exceeded his bad plays. For the sake of the team and to stick it to the Rams, I hope his play continues more like the first 4 games as opposed to this one. He's played like Woolen for several years, only he made fewer good plays and more bad plays. Enjoy the good plays and the good times. They may be brief.
