In case you missed it. Robert Saleh, the 49ers DC and Liam Coen, the Jags HC had a heated exchange after the game:

Coen: "Keep my name out of your mouth. Keep my name out of your mouth. Keep my name out of your f---ing mouth."

Saleh: "I was trying to compliment your ass. I will f--- your world up. You don't wanna f--- with me. I will f---ing end your f--ing life."

For context, Saleh had accused the Jags of stealing signs earlier in the week.

Saleh.

One of the most punchable faces in football.

This is how I think Saleh sees himself.
Also how the media saw him during his prior stint as DC with Niners. I’m not even joking, the broadcast would cut to him during every huddle like he was a God. More than they did the head coach. He is like the Mahomes of coaches when it comes to slobberfests.

Now, I do try to be fair and objective. I think Saleh planned and schemed far better than Kubiak did in week one. I thought he called a hell of a defensive game and played to his strengths and masked his weaknesses far better than Kubiak.

Having the Niners as bookends on the schedule will be a very interesting measuring stick on whether both teams are poised for success or regress moving forward.

Jags are better than many think.

They are poaching from the Rams administrative staff.

  • James Gladstone:Former Rams Director of Scouting Strategy, hired as Jaguars General Manager in February 2025.
  • Jake Temme:Former Rams Director of Data and Analytics, hired as Jaguars Senior Vice President of Football Analytics in March 2025.
  • Brian Xanders:Former Rams Senior Personnel Executive, hired by the Jaguars in May 2025.

Week 4 against the jaguars was a mistake plagued game. 4 turnovers and a kick return TD . And a week one win against the Seahawks matters more than a week 4 loss against the jags. NFC west game, nfc game
4 turnovers your qb threw another 2 picks and got his nose drilled into the dirt on a strip sack to close the game out for the Jags who are actually the better team. GMF does a segment called “week one is a lie” it’s actually pretty telling

Man I saw that coming.

And speaking of the Jags, we go down to Jax in a couple weeks. We'd better not blow it or we'll never hear the end of it from the 9er fans we're roasting right now.
We will dominate that game are you stoned today my guy?

lol, no but I'm a fan going back to the 80's so I still can't shake our everlasting habit of playing down to an opponent.
Your team is 15th DVOA and the Seahawks are number 1 so it isn’t “playing down” my guy. Everyone in the nation knows how fuggin flukey week 1 is. Your squad sucks buddy deal with it here’s DVOA rankings alphabetically IMG 0152

You've misunderstood me at some point here, I'm a Seahawks fan, not a 9ers fan.
