I wouldn't say that he's lucky as much as PFT tries to remain relevant by ginning up controversy and a need for taking points/debate

I will say I never want to see Kemp in a primetime game again with the Hawks - he gets his viral moment and Seattle gets the short end of the call

He's the "I'm talking to America" guy after the awful internal grounding call against Geno

What did JSN do? That holding call was bullshit. I am certain that Seattle will be receiving a, "Hey, we missed that one," letter from the league.

I wish the NFL would make them FT referees, but they don't want that. In European soccer, if the referees make egregious calls, they are suspended and they don't hide why the referees were suspended. Doesn't change the outcome, but at least demonstrates accountability.

The call may have been bogus but that doesn't mean JSN needed to react that way -- and get flagged for a 15 yard penalty. And it wasn't what he said, but that he tossed the ball at the opposing player. He accomplished nothing except to show his immaturity, something I had hoped we'd have rid ourselves of wth DK's departure. I guess not.

JSN was lucky not to get another flag for his comments. Many think that he should have gotten another flag for that:

I have to laugh at the comments about the refs being against us. First of all, if the fix is in, it won't be in favor of the Cardinals. I mean, I think even God hates the Cardinals. Second, every NFL fan thinks the refs are against them. Talk to a Saints fan lately?

Coby Bryant's fumble was unfortunate. Turning gold into straw. Tyrice Knight may or may not have caused it, but either way, it's Bryant's job to protect that ball.

And that hold on JSN was legit. Replay showed him taking the defender to the ground. It was bullshit only because it was totally unnecessary for him to do that.

Talk about keeping your poise and attention to detail. These little things like the unsportsman like call against Walker, the fumble by Bryant and the comment by JSN could have been bigger factors in the game and we were lucky that they weren't.
Ya ya we get it “you don’t believe the fix is in” you probably thought the rapture was gunna happen this week too huh?

Like @AROS and others have said, it’s becoming more and more obvious especially when a team is being taken to the wood chipper. Shit look at the saints on Sunday, if the refs didn’t step in and start killing our drives it would’ve probably set a scoring record at the pace we were going and taking them. Cardinals were being man handled and we controlled the fam up until the refs decided to keep doing little moment in shifts, the fumble even though he slid, JSN’s BS hold, (which wiped 7 points off the board). The HEAVY HEAVY HEAAVVVY promoting of Sportsbetting ads and partnerships. This is a sport but it’s ENTERTAINMENT first and foremost, and classified as such, hence not having to pay taxes. And ultimately there’s more evidence combined now that officials NOT players, are the only ones who need in on it.

We saw that in 2005 the old * Super Bowl .. a flag here or there is all that’s needed to kill drives, limit teams to FGs, etc etc. I watch football in sundays now like I would an episode of The Office or Game of Thrones, as entertainment. Why? Because the NFL loves is narratives. It’s “feel goods”

Bottom Line is on top of Woolen playing like ass, the Refs also tried to pile on and f*ck us over but we somehow persevered in the end because Sam Darnold has balls of steel and JSN is the f*cking TRUTH.

(Darnold/JSN won this game TWICE; Meyers simply missed the first time and got it right the next time)
It was Donald/ JSN vs. Woolen and the refs. It's ok, we won twice

The momentum is from the defender. JSN puts his right hand out, but he does not grab and pull that guy on top of himself.

#16 puts his hand in JSN"s chest and pushes him like he's trying to block JSN out of the way and they both fall over.

"Looks like JSN pulled the guy on top of him"

Everyone is F*cking blind except for those with eyes apparently.

Charbs deserved that TD simply for the Barry Sandersesque move, too. 😔

Here's a perfect example that you are correct.

I give you "Referee who claims he did not see Darnold get face-masked last year against the Rams" :

That proved to me that this sh*t you mentioned is VERY real.
That’s refs expression is as priceless as your avatar @Aircrew

You're thinking of Walker for throwing the ball after the AZ player started pulling his ankle after the whistle. It looked like he threw the ball to the ref didn't even see a Cardinal near it

Yes, you're right, Walker.

I heard one former player say that such remarks made by players happen all the time, that this one was just caught on mic. He said the line is more easily crossed when you directly accuse the ref of something, or get right in their face about it. In other words, there's not a clearly defined line as to what amounts to such an unsportsmanlike penalty.

My bad..D a r n o l d..I was talking about our new QB if you couldn't read between the lines. Sorry to confuse you.
Pardon me for being a bit ornery.

I keep seeing his name PURPOSELY misspelled on Social Media by trolls so I thought you were deliberately doing that.

I will go to my grave knowing in the deepest regions of my Soul that there is a secret, hidden part of the NFL that allows refs to gently steer the games if at all possible to help a certain outcome.

I’ve seen enough evidence in over 50 years to cement that as being not some stupid conspiracy theory but an actual real thing.

And us 12s shouldn’t have a better example of that than the debacle that was Super Bowl 40*.
If there was any doubt before online gambling, there is zero doubt now.
