He's become this outlier, when the teams not hitting, you can almost count on him hitting, other wise... well anyway, he seems like a great back of the lineup type player, I hope we keep him.

We have a three game lead over Detroit and Cleveland, both tied for the AL Central lead. We own the tiebreaker over both teams, so with 5 games to play for all three teams, our magic number for clinching a bye is 2. Detroit and Cleveland play each other twice, tonight and tomorrow night, so we can only pick up one of those 'magic numbers' tonight as one of those two teams will win. We can clinch a first-round bye with a sweep of the Rockies.

We're two behind the Blue Jays and one behind the Yanks, both in the AL East, for the best record in the AL, so HFA through the playoffs isn't out of the question, but we're going to need help. In a 7-game series, HFA isn't a huge deal like it is in the NFL playoffs. But a first-round bye is huge, allowing us to skip a 5-game series.

One of the other stories going on is that Houston is in danger of missing the playoffs altogether, something that hasn't happened since 2016. We could be witnessing a changing of the guard in the AL.
