Spankees won tonight. So....the M's are officially in the playoffs with a win tonight. Step 1. And the ONLY thing we can clinch tonight. And NO I am not satisfied with just making the playoffs. But I'm absolutely going to be F&#^;# stoked if a playoff birth happens tonight.

Also, Detroit lost AGAIN (7 in a row) so the M's magic number for the 2 seed is now at 3.

What I meant was that the only thing that matters right now, tonight, is winning this game. Doing that is step 1, and gets us closer to all of those other goals.

Hopefully the lineup gets their shit together because so far, outside of that solo HR Canzone just hit, they've been dominated by a guy with an ERA over 9.
