Why oh why do you call a pass with 1:09 on the clock? If anything we should have been trying to take time off the clock by running the ball.
To me this is the second most disappointing game in Seahawk history.
Maybe we should start selling ALL tickets to visiting team buyers. Our away record is so much better than our home record maybe our guys would play better if the crowd is against them.

The 84 rushing yards is the most disappointing stat.

Better the Raiders' , they got a total of 56 rushing yards lol, their #6 overall looking like a bust with 2.0 avg.

Except they compensated the ZERO run game with 33 passing snaps for 362 yards to 8 receivers, 71% completion, and 15.1 yards per.

But this year I feel like if we don't make the playoffs and play well win or lose, then we should just scrap the Darnold & Lock experiment and draft a QB #1 (LaNorris Sellers) and let him and Milroe compete.
This is how watching this game made me feel, that and maybe KK isn't some masterful play caller.

Yeah, I'm going to let things play out for awhile this season, but if we end up in the middle of the draft pack, and we really like someone, I'd push a bunch of chips forward to move up to get them if that's what it took. In other words, I don't feel at all settled yet on our QB situation. It's just too important of a position to ignore until you get it right. Hopefully, Darnold performs well, and Milroe develops, but I've got to see it first.

Well as is always the case, it's never up to anyone aside from those in charge (and that's not you or me).

At the very least, if things don't work out with Darnold, the Hawks can simply cut ties with no issue after this season.

The problem though is that Milroe will be rushed before he's ready (if he'll ever be ready) as I doubt Drew Lock will be any better under Kubiak (if THIS is how his offense is going to be)

No matter about all the peripheral stuff, if you don't win the line of scrimmage you are going to be behind the sight ball on offense. We were behind the sticks most of the day. Late in the fourth we started getting food output on first down. That was a big difference in how we could play offense. It gave is a chance to win.

I have a problem with so many OCs trying to look like the next genius and getting way too cute(like Shanahan costing the falcons or that other game when that team shoukd have run the ball from the 2)The play calling, especially in the 4th was horrific . I'd love to get someone in here with that Vince Lombardi mentality. We're running the power sweep, try stopping it

Lombardi assembled the power first, then discovered the audacity to dare anyone to stop it. We haven't done the first part of that yet. Win the LOS on both sides of the ball or struggle your way through games. It really is as simple as that.

Lets be honest.

This should be a heavy 12 personnel team based on the personnel and talent on this squad. JSN and Horton on the outside and Arroyo and Barner on the line. Charbs should be lined up in the backfield with K9 as the change of pace. Pound the rock with Charbs and then play action downfield which is Darnold's strength. Only then you mix in screens to neutralize 49ers pass rush, etc.

Failure to accept what talent the Seahawks have to work with is definitely on Kubiak but I am willing to give him an adjustment period.

Darnold is not Purdy working the quick game as an extension of the running game. K9 isn't a pound the rock guy. JSN can't do everything and Kupp is supposed to be use in motion to give him a free release from the slot or to attack the zone.
